The mechanism is equally efficacious against snow, which is transported through the grooved, central rib into the side grooves, which expel moisture outside the tyre, ensuring good grip in all conditions.

The three-dimensional sipes are carved into a hexagon (cross-section), which allows them to better support the work of the blocks.
