Technical description: Compared with the previous generation model, the Michelin Alpin A4 is 10% more efficient when moving off, offers 5% shorter braking distances, and also lasts for one more winter season than rival tyres. This is thanks to its specially designed tread, which improves traction, braking performance and tyre stability in the most difficult winter conditions. The tyres are made from an innovative rubber compound, which also ensures optimal grip and faster braking on icy and snowy surfaces. Michelin's experience has enabled it to create a model which, compared with the tyres of rival brands, ensures up to 35% more mileage. This is thanks to the tyre's special design and a rubber compound with exceptional specifications. It is one of the most energy efficient tyres on the market, resulting in fuel savings, less frequent tyre changes and lower CO2 emissions. The GREEN X logo on the side of the tyre is proof of its environmentally friendly credentials.
