Michelin CrossClimate+

With the special rubber compound based on functional elastomers and the addition of silica, Michelin CrossClimate+ maintains its performance both in summer and in winter (which is proved by the 3PMSF affixed on the side).
The tyre was tested in temperatures from -30°C to +40°C and the tests ran for nearly 5 million kilometres. The manufacturer has managed to improve the durability, which is even 25% higher compared to other premium all-season tyres. The properties of the tyre’s surface enhance the grip even on wet roads, which makes travelling on CrossClimate+ safe.
Michelin CrossClimate+ has a directional tread pattern with V-shaped grooves. The use of such a pattern implies the need of directional installation, as per the “Rotation” marking. Thanks to the deep grooves and drain notches, the model perfectly drains water from under the crown ply.
Additionally, the self-locking 3D sipes support braking on dry surfaces and ensure mobility on snowy roads. The tread pattern increases the effect of engagement on snow, and with the high stiffness the tyre is more durable.
At Michelin, they focus on high product quality. The brand has been active on the market since 1889 and has constantly developed by introducing new technologies and surprising solutions. The brand sets the direction of development for the entire industry, so it’s no surprise that they want to be the leaders by improving their technologies for reliable and safe tyres.

Opinion from outside the UK
I've been thinking about buying these tires for a long time, but it just ended in winter, and I bought one. On dry they are great, they ride on wet like Uniroyal rain expert, which I have and I will not put them on now, because it is a waste of time to exchange. During winter they are also positive and very good. They brake like a good winter and it's hard to activate the ABS, they like to slow down a little when you start, but it's also the case in winter. I really recommend it, and the route is quiet. Well, this view of the queues in front of the garage. PRICELESS, because I don't get bothered anymore :) Read more Collapse

I was looking for quiet tyres and I found one. Before that I also went to Michelin and I was very happy, so now I've come back to them too. They behave well in both winter and summer. If someone does not believe, let him drive the car with other tyres, and then change the same day to the car with Michelin tyres. Colossal difference. A pleasant ride, quiet and safe. I recommend, even though they are not cheap. At least you do not have to exchange for winter or summer. Read more Collapse

I have been using this type of tyre for years, starting with the previous Cross Climate on the work van (on which I now have the Cross Climate plus) and then using it on my private car with enormous satisfaction. It doesn't make me regret the winter tyre and it saves me the waste of time for the changing seasons and it freed me the storage space for unused tyres. Too bad it's not available in all sizes ... The tyres are comfortable, ie they do not make noise and suppress noise well. They are not sports tyres, as every year-round is a compromise (the sides are not as stiff as in the summer, what you can feel during cornering) but they are safe and stable. Braking is ok. Better than Nokians that wear quickly and Goodyear. I drive a lot and I sincerely recommend. Read more Collapse

In general, I approached these tyres with some distance. I was convinced only by the amateur video test I found on the internet. I decided to take my chances and it turned out to be jackpot. The tyres behave perfectly on the surface of dry, wet or snow, even at temperatures of -15 or + 21 do not feel the difference in grip. Read more Collapse

I’ve got 4 of these on my Toyota. Supposedly better wear rate which I can believe, further justifying the higher price. After a cold winter I fitted these as a better alternative to running winter tyres all year. Read more Collapse

In various winter conditions (frost, snow, mud) they work well. The ride is stable even on dry and wet surfaces at high temperatures. The only drawback is the slightly longer braking distance. Read more Collapse
