Scale of scores: Highest lowest

It is noted for its outstanding performance on dry and wet surfaces, as well as its superb traction on snow. The Michelin CrossClimate SUV is the ideal option for anyone looking for a tyre that can handle both summer and winter conditions.

The combination of a special rubber compound with an optimised design featuring a double carcass and stiffened side ensures that the tyre offers excellent grip in typical winter conditions. This design also provides excellent driving performance and helps optimise fuel consumption. This not only cuts costs but also helps protect the environment since lower fuel consumption means fewer atmospheric emissions of harmful substances.

The components used to manufacture the tyre are noted for their flexibility over a wide range of temperatures, as a result of which the CrossClimate SUV offers appropriate grip and stability both during heat waves and at extremely low temperatures. The increased contact area between the tyre and the road surface means that the vehicle is more sensitive to movements of the steering system, allowing for greater precision during cornering and sudden manoeuvres.

This model features a unique directional tread which ensures the efficient dispersal of water and snow from under the tyre. The exceptional nature of this design stems from the use of self-locking and highly effective blades, which offer superb performance not only on wet surfaces but also on dry surfaces.

Are you particularly interested in safety when choosing a tyre? The CrossClimate SUV is the ideal choice for you. Tread blocks with bevelled edges used in combination with blades improve the tyre's performance and lead to shorter braking distances on dry surfaces and on snow.

The French company Michelin is one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world. The brands owned by the group include: Kleber, Kormoran and BFGoodrich.

    Opinion from outside the UK

With some shyness, I ordered all-season tyres. Until now, I used seasonal (not tyre) wheels and thought that all-year-round will be a sign of recklessness. In the decision, definitely positive opinions in the article helped. Winter homologation was also very important for me - without it, I wouldn't decide to buy them anyway. Today I can say that I do not regret my choice. I tried them both in summer and in winter. In the city, outside the city and on the field. And I really don't have anything to write about, as I don't want to make peanes in honor of tyres. They meet my expectations and that's what it was about. We'll see how it will be with their durability. Not without significance is the lack of visits twice a year at the workshop and more space in the garage. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

The tyres are very quiet, soft, not like the previous ones, that each connection of the asphalt or sliding over the sewage grid ended with the shock of the whole car body. Now the car just flows, I recommend it to a big car. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I still have the winter tyres, I can not judge driving during winter time. Read more Collapse

Taking off the original winter tyres assembled from the novelty in my Honda and switching to the Michelin, I did not feel any loss of grip (4x4 probably also does the job). Read more Collapse
