    Opinion from outside the UK

Michelin Energy Saver+ first impression: silence – I had never had such qui et tyres on my car. Second impression: low torque. Third impression: after about 1300 miles Michelin Energy Saver+ had to be driven aggressively – I had a feeling like I was sliding. Right now I am riding Michelin Energy Saver+ very sure , great band handling, ABS wasn’t on a single time. The only disadvantage is ( common for every French manufacturer ) the price, lower than couple years ago. Resuming: Michelin Energy Saver+ is ideal for people who want to have a decent tyre and not a race one. Michelin Energy Saver+ are daily use tyre which will turn comfortable, lower noise level, lower torque and lower wear. Another purchase: Michelin Energy Saver+. My car is Citroen Xsara Picasso Exclusive 2.0 HDI. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

While selecting tyres, my main concern was safety. These tyres I chose are, according to a label shown on oponeo, very safe, especially on wet surface. After all summer is not only sunny weather but also rain - and constantly changing conditions. Another factor was fuel usage. In the case of these particular tyres, it is sufficient, I also took into account the noise happening while driving - it is also on a decent level. To sum all of this up, I don't think I could've chosen better tyres. Read more Collapse

Michelin Energy Saver + is a very good tire, I am using the second set and I am very happy with this choice. I drive various sections of roads and is far different when it comes to road conditions and the quality of the surface. The tire highly resistant to abrasion, and hence is cheap, which for the average user is not without significance. Read more Collapse

I bought Michelin Energy Saver + because I had to reduce the impact of fuel and wear, Michelin Energy Saver + is less noisy, it car wears off very slowly, it may not be to cheap but it was worth it and I will always recommend buying the brand, I have a second car to come, it's probably time to replace those for the same. Scale of scores: Highest lowest

The Michelin Energy Saver+ is designed especially for urban passenger cars, family vehicles and minivans. Its main benefits include a high level of safety, outstanding durability and large fuel savings (up to 60 litres compared to previous-generation models).

The tyre features an improved profile which increases the area of contact between the tyre and the road by 10%, meaning that the tyre heats up less and therefore delivers a higher level of safety thanks to increased grip. The Michelin Energy Saver+ incorporates Eco N Grip technology, which is a state-of-the-art patented solution based on improving molecular cohesion in the tyre in order to reduce heat build-up, leading to greater durability and increased fuel savings. A special internal layer below the tyre's tread provides further fuel savings, since it reduces rolling resistance and increases energy efficiency.

Michelin

The Michelin Group is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers. The French-owned brand was founded by the brothers André and Édouard Michelin in 1889. Their first tube-type tyre, developed in 1891, soon gained popularity thanks to its appearance in the Paris-Bordeaux Rally, and the brand gradually became a household name. Large numbers of inventions are also a characteristic feature of the company's later history. The company has been closely linked with motor sports ever since it developed its first tyres, and this still remains true today. Michelin-branded tyres have been seen on Formula 1 tracks, for example, and the brand has been the main supplier for WRC (World Rally Championships) since 2006. The group currently owns brands including: Kleber, BFGoodrich, Riken, Kormoran.
