    Opinion from outside the UK

Michelin is making tyres which are better and better. With time they improve their products. Previously I've had PS2, now i have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 so there is no much to be compared. The noise is subjectively lower than the previous ones. Very good grip and stability especially on edges. The fuel efficiency doesn't make any difference to me because my car burns a lot eitherway. Due to harder rubber the tyre is not as comfortable as the previous model but tread wear is much better. These are really good performance and quiet tyres. Read more Collapse

Heard so many people rave about these tyres as the best and all-rounders. I was a bit sceptical until I bought them myself. They have absolutely transformed the handling of the car (it was no slouch to begin with as it was an RS), supreme confidence as the car goes into any corner. The wet grip is also unbelievable, probably works better in the wet than many tyres in the dry. Read more Collapse

The tyres perform quite well on both dry and wet surfaces. They are quite quiet and durable. During the first season, less than 6,200 miles have been driven without any damage to quality. The only downside is that they are a bit noisy, but you can get used to it. Read more Collapse

Definately the best tyre of Michelin so far. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 provides great grip on dry and wet. It is really hard wearing tyre which also makes it more durable. I'm making low mileage and regardless conditions it behaves well. Worth recommending. Read more Collapse

The tyres are very good and I will definitely buy them again. The tyres do not slip and barely bend, they work fantastic. These are not the quietest tyres I had, but my set of screws, which is quite stiff, of course does not help. Read more Collapse

Description of Technology: If you are looking for tyres for a sports car which provide maximum performance regardless the weather and comfort, then Michelin Pilot Sport 4 are ideal for you. The model guarantees safety on different types of surfaces and confidence during dynamic and fast driving

Michelin Pilot Sport 4 is the successor of the trusted model Michelin Pilot Sport 3. The tyres use innovative technology that make it durable and safe. The Dynamic Response technology applied consists of a belt with hybrid aramid and nylon reinforcement that ensures optimal directional control.

The model was designed with an asymmetric ultra-responsive tread . It constantly adapts to the road, thanks to the clever mastery of the dynamic interaction between the architecture, tread pattern and materials. This results in optimal management of the contact patch.

The wide circumferential grooves and numerous sipes efficiently evacuate water from the tyres to minimise the risk of skidding and loss of grip. By effectively draining water, the tread avoids the appearance of dangerous aquaplaning.

The high-level performance is achieved through a very new homogeneous tread compound mix including functional elastomers and fine silica . In addition, there are wide, deep longitudinal grooves which provide efficient water evacuation on wet roads. This new mixture also improves the tyre’s longevity and fuel efficiency.

The model is durable and resistant to damage so you can enjoy a high-quality performance longer without the risk of abrasion and mechanical damage.

The creation of the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 was a response to the needs of demanding drivers who do not want to give up the sport performance in various weather conditions. The tyre was developed in cooperation with experts from companies such as BMW, Porsche, Audi and Mercedes.
