Have 4 tyres. Using them in Ireland where weather conditions mostly wet, but sometimes dry as well, air temperatures around 10 degree with variation + or - 5 (during spring and part of the summer). Never had ESP system activated even on wet road, driving aggressively or going fast around small roundabouts, but it did happen with OTHER cheap Chinese tyres.I drive manual gearbox car. So wet grip is perfect.Driving at around 120-130 km/h is a pleasure. Noise is low and stability is perfect even driving average sized 7 seater. My comparison is also based on previous experience with Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance which I had fitted on Toyota Prius. Using Nexen tyres, I didn't experience any difference in handling, performance, grip or noise level although vehicles are different. Verdict: Great quality, performance and value! Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

After driving over 1250 miles in various conditions (sunny mixed with heavy rain) I can recommend the Nexen N'Blue HD Plus tyres for people who are looking for a compromise between price and performance. For a reasonable price we get a tire that can cope with rain (water drainage is great and causes the car behind us having the glass splashed :)), so there is no need to remove your feet from the accelerator. For a good weather conditions every tyre will do so I’ll leave it without comment. The only drawback is the noise increased slightly compared to the previous set of Michelin Exalto 2 (but isn’t to bad neither). The tyre keeps us well in the fast corners. Read more Collapse

Recommendable tires. The first thing I notice is that they are really quiet. The second thing wort your attention is the traction and the comfort of driving. I drive quite cautiously, so I couldn’t see how it behives in the controlled slip, but I can certainly say that the grip on the road is great and the suppression of inequality, too. Summer has been hot and dry, so I haven’t had chance to check the wet grip. The decision to buy this particular tire I made because of the test of the tyres from all over the world in AutoPlay, where Nexen N’Blue HD Plus was the model that reached a very high rating competiting with the high performence tires. Hi, I bought two pieces of Nexen N'Blue HD Plus and I’m really happy with them. In my opinion, they’re the perfect compromise between price, quality, handling and overall appearance of the tire. Maybe driving on rain is not as ideal as Uniroyal and driving on dry as great as with Toyo, but I must admit - I switched from Bridgestone ER300 to Nexen N'Blue HD Plus and honestly in conducting there is absolutely no difference, those are even quieter. I drove them only during the summer season, approx. 6200 miles. - I wonder how the abrasion is going to be. For a normal driving those are a really good tyres. Read more Collapse

In general, tyres are ok, maybe they wear down little too quickly, but in my case they traveled a few thousand kilometers on concrete German highways and after one season you can see clear differences between the wear of the tyres on the front and on the rear axle. In addition, it is difficult to have some serious accusations. Maybe it could be a bit better on wet, but I value them as very good product in this price segment. Read more Collapse

Nexen N'Blue HD Plus is an improved version of Nexen N`Blue HD, which is very popular among drivers. Compared to the previous model, Nexen N'Blue HD Plus has improved driving parameters and efficiency.

Nexen N`Blue HD Plus most of all stands for top traction properties, excellent performance on wet roads and a much lower rolling resistance. The former feature is a result of, among others, 3 independent tread ribs along the whole tyre surface. It is those ribs that play an invaluable role in the tyre's stability (also at high speeds). The top traction on a wet surface is supported by the notches (grooves) which exist all over the surface. They effectively drain water from the tyre surface. However, performance on a wet surface wouldn’t be so good were it not for the wide circumferential grooves.

Nexen N`Blue HD Plus

Nexen N`Blue HD Plus also features an excellent grip on bends. This comes from the massive tyre sides, which guarantee precision and grip during turning.

The manufacture of the tyre of a special material allowed for the taking care of two parameters simultaneously: low rolling resistance and wet grip. The same is also ensured by optimised design. The special carcass placed in the tyre is responsible for protection against damage, deformation and stability.
