I bought these as I needed winter tyres to drive in Germany but kept them on for the British winter. This proved worthwhile as the snow and ice lasted into March. No difficulties were had in snow on the roads and they gave additional confidence to drive in the conditions... though it must be said that having four wheel drive added to this in combination with the tyres. Nexen Winguard Sport 2 is the winter successor to the popular Winguard Sport model. Modern production solutions paired with a reinforced tyre construction ensure greater resistance to weight loads and damage. Stabline parameters and precise mapping of steering movements allow you to enjoy intense driving, regardless of your preferred driving style.

The model from the popular mid-range manufacturer has been optimised for passenger cars. The directional tread, in combination with dense and deep cuts, guarantees very good traction control and efficient removal of mud, snow and water from the front of the tyre. The model minimises the risk of aquaplaning and ensures precise driving, regardless of the condition of the surface.

The built of the model was based on an innovative silica blend, which thanks to the well-chosen proportions protects against premature wear, significantly extending the tyres’ lifespan. The tyre retains its properties, even at very low temperatures.

Nexen is a South Korean tyre brand with a very wide offer. The company provides winter and summer tyres, designed for passenger cars, SUVs, vans and light trucks. The latest technologies have been used to produce tyres for this brand. The brand name is a combination of the words Next and Century (age), indicating the direction of the brand's development, which focuses on modern technology solutions available at affordable prices.

Nexen Winguard Sport 2 Tyre warranty

The warranty covers a maximum of 6 years from the date of manufacture or 5 years from the date of purchase,
Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects,
If the defect becomes apparent within 12 months from the date of sale or before the first 1.6 mm of the original tread height is worn, the tire will be replaced with a new one,
If the defect becomes apparent at a later date, the amount of reimbursement will be determined by the tread depth remaining on the tire.
