In the 3 months I've been using them, there have been few occasions to test them on snow: one trip to the Bieszczady Mountains on white, packed roads went OK. On dry roads, very confident cornering (reinforced XL version of the tyres). At high motorway speeds, they don't make too much noise, as for winter tyres. Overall very solid tyres with deep tread. The only thing on the downside, which I didn't know about before buying, is the place of manufacture: China. Read more Collapse

I switched from all-season tyres, which, despite a good amount of tread (5.5 mm), completely failed to cope even in the city after a snowfall. The Snowproof 1 is dedicated precisely to snow and slush rather than completely white roads and performs superbly in these conditions. Compared to all-season tyres, when it comes to grip, it's a gulf - even on a road partially covered with ice in the zero-degree transition period, very good grip. Read more Collapse

Super, the tyres are a revelation. Snow, slush and frozen roads were no obstacle. Thanks to the tyres, the vehicle drives great. Stiff, stable, rides like it's on a track, like it's glued to the road. I can drive on snow-covered roads without any problem, where other vehicles are standing still or have difficulty driving uphill, thanks to the Nokian Tyres Snowproof 1 I can drive anywhere. I recommend these tyres. During the winter they performed excellently both on snow and on icy spots (within limits). After the winter season they have also held up well in warmer weather and surprisingly do not wear quickly. Throughout the ownership of these tyres the tread has been soft but durable. Nokian Tyres Snowproof 1 Tyre warranty

You have a 5-year warranty from the date of tire manufacture,
If the defect is visible only after inflation, return the tire for complaint together with the rim on which it is mounted,
If the complaint is accepted, you will receive financial compensation proportional to the degree of tire wear (the less worn the tire, the greater the refund),
The warranty also covers defects in studding (when performed by Nokian or an authorized contractor).
