Sporty performance and optimal driving control are the main features of the Pirelli P Zero. The tyre has been designed for premium sports cars with a high performance engine. The model features an innovative asymmetric tread pattern. Its triple-ribbed construction ensures rigidity and also helps maintain a balanced pressure between the tyre and the ground. This all results in improved braking performance and traction, even at high speeds. The outer shoulder features wide blocks, which increase steering precision and driving stability, thus improving the typical performance specifications of a sports car.

The Pirelli P Zero offers excellent performance on both wet and dry surfaces. Three wide, longitudinal grooves guarantee fast water dispersal, improving grip and ensuring greater safety against the risk of aquaplaning. The tyre is made from an innovative compound featuring a silica additive, making it exceptionally light and strong. The compound's properties limit rolling resistance, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The tyre is also very resistant, both to mechanical damage and to rapid wear. This extends its service life and the model offers its full performance specifications for its entire lifetime. The increased contact area between the tyre and the road ensures better grip and fluidity and stability during dynamic manoeuvres and when negotiating corners. The tyre is ideal for those who favour a fast and sporty style of driving but who are also looking for safety and comfort.

In 2016, Pirelli P Zero was among the three best tyres that passed the test organised by ADAC for size 225/45 R17 tyres.

Pirelli is an Italian brand that is particularly renowned for its sporty tyres. As well as its sporty tyres, the company also makes tyres for passenger cars, vans, motorcycles, 4x4 vehicles and lorries. The company's products combine excellent design with above-average performance. The company has been in operation since 1872 and has its headquarters in Milan.

    Opinion from outside the UK

Hello, Audi A7 - wheels 20 "- were previously Dunlop Sport Maxx GT - rode perfectly, no noise even though the tires were nearly worn out. Came time for a new - Pirelli because they have the approval of AUDI - after a while driving horror - noise is unbearable. entire car rumbles like I was driving with the windows down on a stoney road. roar from a speed of 20 km / h and. the faster the louder. was hoping that after a while this will change, but it did not. Noise of air resistance of the car can be heard only while driveng than 180 km / h, or faster, as the tyres are too loud. Previously, much delight in the beautiful voice of the petrol engine, now I have a radio in order not to hear the noise of tires.I've read the opinion of the member of the Audi A8 - wrote that the noise larger than the noise of air - I did not believe and the same opinion. now I see how he was right, and how great I made a mistake. Pirelli is 73dB, 69dB Dunlop - in fact a huge difference. Read more Collapse

Jaguar XF car D 275CV 245/45 / R18'm on my second pair of Pzero I could not resist returning to Pirelli despite that last bit. The tire has excellent grip on dry surface, can take advantage of the the last engine of 275cv But when it rains especially if there is plenty of water you no longer have an exceptional tire and have a correct one. Another positive aspect is that dry performance remain high until the last km before changing, thing I had never seen before. This does not occur if wet and the tread is noticeable worn out. Another story is the duration less than 30,000.. Noise and comfort are acceptable Goodyear effcient provide better grip on wet road but when you give full throttle power they can not withstand. I bought these for my GTC VXR as they came standard with the car whenever you buy one. I stuck with them as they gripped the road superbly! Yes, they are expensive, but not on Oponeo (got them for about £148 instead of £250 everywhere else) but when you have your foot down in a 280bhp car, you know you're going to go through tyres! They are sticky in the dry and good in the wet, but being a sensible person, you know not to go daft speeds in the wet regardless of what car and tyres you have. I'd recommend these for daily use and for when you have a heavy foot.. Read more Collapse

That tyre is recommended by Audi. My new car was equiped with these tyres and I had to pay almost 3k pounds for that. After 1000 miles they rumble, howl etc. They are used, jagged all 4 of them. Probably the worst tyre that I have used ever in my life. The behaviour of Audi Service who sold me the car for over 100.000 pounds and additionally they took 3k pounds for such tyres is just unacceptable. They said that "it is not our fault. It is the manufacturers fault. They have their experts". I never ever met with such incompetence. I dont recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

Very good tyre. I have owned Pirelli tyres before and this time I was not disappointed. My next purchase will also be a tyre from the PZero series. It is very comfortable when driving calmly and behaves a bit like a soft tyre, but when driving hard it gives a lot of confidence to the driver. In my opinion it is rather a hard tyre, because I have not noticed a loss of 1 millimetre since I started using it. In short, despite the low price it is worth buying. Unfortunately with aggressive driving they wear out quite quickly, but before them I had Bridgestone Potenza S001 which only lasted one season. well a bit of a stretch as towards the end they were a bit more slicks. Going back to the pzero, it looks like it will be similar. But not everyone drives like me. I like to take it easy on the straights and go fast in the corners. That is why I need good tyres. I will probably buy the same tyres next year. Read more Collapse

I have never been a supporter of Pirelli, but the P Zero is doing the job. They let you drive fast and aggressively especially on bendy roads. like to overtake, it does not matter whether it is dry or wet. Tires had a great grip on the wet . This is what I love about them it is a hell of a grip! If you are not sure believe me. I bought a second set for next season but I got also bridgestone and even unpacked them. My choice is the P Zero !!!! Read more Collapse

I searched quite a long time for tyres that will match my requirements. Pirelli P Zero suprised me with their quality. Brilliant behavior on dry road surface. On wet road surface the grip surpassed my expectations. Imo they are better than ContiSport2. I think that I will have a dillemma chosing between PZero and SportContact5. I use these tyres in my Audi S3 sportback chipped to 310HP. Read more Collapse

Mileage 900km. New A6 allroad car and new tyres. The tyres make unacceptable noise. Out of curiosity I went to the dealer today and asked to test drive a car with comparable performance. They didn't have the A6, but I drove the A8 with even bigger tyres, 21 inches, only from Dunlop. No noise at all. I had previously driven on Michelin or Conti tyres and had never had such problems. Tyres perfect under any circumstances. They are not affraid of any corners. My car drives like sticked to the tarmac. braking on these tyres is just flawless. Nothing can rattle their cage. Despite the fact that my tyres are R-o-F (in size of 225/50R17) the driving comfort is top end. They are offered with Bentleys GT so that is probably their best review. I recommend these tyres. Just recently bought my 2012 reg Q7 and decided to put 4 brand new tyres on it. I ended up picking pirellis given they are a premium brand and pretty decent price. They provide good grip in dry and wet but disappointed with the road noise that they create. At certain speeds on the motorway them seem to create a howling sound. Next I will be choosing a different brand of tyre. Read more Collapse

A tyre that should suit anyone who likes to ride fast and sporty. After changing to Pzero from Bridgeston Potenza I felt a huge difference in favour of the Pzero. Much better handling, much better grip (maybe this makes them wear faster, but worth it). The tyres speak volumes about their condition, how much more cornering overload they can handle and you know what to expect. Read more Collapse

Best tyres that I ever used. Very good handling and grip even with high speeds 170MPH. In my size they come with RimProtector.
