Over five years, I have driven more than 31,000 miles on assessed tyres in various often extreme conditions. Last season was used both in summer at temperatures above 30 degrees and in winter. Thus, after the end of the exploitation cycle - 4mm tread - I can summarize these tyres reasonably. If you want to invest in comfort and safety, it will be a good choice. The "good" rating awarded in the "snow and slush" category is caused solely by the lack of sufficient driving opportunities under the aforementioned conditions (no option - I do not judge). Particularly noteworthy is the low noise emission while driving (even with speeds in the range of 87- 100 mph) + an interesting tread design (category 4 in rating of tyres). Read more Collapse

Technical description: The Pirelli SottoZero Serie 3 is a winter tyre designed for mid-range and premium passenger cars. It offers excellent resistance to various conditions and deformation, as well as to the burden of intensive use. This can be attributed to the use of an ultra-modern rubber compound during its manufacture. This compound means that the tyre can be used even during very difficult driving conditions. On wet, snowy or icy surfaces, the tyre quickly disperses water and slush from under the wheels thanks to the use of a directional tread pattern with V-shaped grooves. Wide and thick tread blocks help maintain perfect grip and stability whilst driving, including when negotiating corners.
