Auto Bild 195/65 R15 satisfactory -
Scale of scores: Highest lowest

Uniroyal RainExpert 3 is a middle-class tyre, which ensures the best quality at a relatively low price. This summer tyre is designed for passenger cars and due to the symmetrical tread, will perform well on any surface.

Akwaplanacja

Aquaplanting

Rain Expert 3 ensures better control over the vehicle on wet roads and protection against aquaplaning. How does it work? The main innovation in the Rainsport 3 is "Shark Skin" technology, with very small grooves in the water channels to reduce the turbulence flow and evacuate more water at similar speeds.

Przyczepnosc

Grip

The asymmetric tread is responsible for the perfect grip on wet roads, making the Rain Expert 3 stand out from the competition. The tread pattern has been optimised for water flow and the large, stiff outer shoulders work to provide stability when cornering. This tyre has been awarded an ‘A’ for its ‘Wet Grip’ by the EU Tyre Label, which is the highest possible grade, demonstrating its exceptional wet weather capabilities.

Oszczednosc paliwa

Fuel efficiency

Designed with a large contact patch that optimises the tyre’s contact with the road, the Uniroyal RainExpert 3 produces less friction which helps reduce rolling resistance on all road surfaces. Lower rolling resistance means that the tyre requires less energy and fuel to provide momentum. This results in reduced fuel consumption, helping you to save money.

Tyres (size 195/65 R15 91 H) I have had those for one season, I have travelled on them about 7.000 km (mainly in the city, but also a few longer holiday trips). On dry and wet surface tyres stick to the surface very well. Noise - up to 120 km / h - quiet; above 130 km / h - a bit more noise, but the noise level is still acceptable (the ears does not hurt, and the radio does not need to be turned up). The appearance does not matter to me, although it presents itself well - the tyre is to be safe and not to look nice. After 7.000 km tyre wear unnoticeable. Overally OK, but ... Previously I used Uniroyal RainSport 2 (on the same car) and thanks for the great impression and experience - I bought their next generation, that is RainExpert 3. Unfortunately, I have the impression that the newer not necessarily became better and that "better" has disappeared from the market. RainExpert 3 was excellent when it comes to grip: absolutely not afraid to go faster in the puddles, or faster to ride in the rut in the rain - they were like glued to the asphalt. With RainExpert 3 I have no such confidence and peace of mind: in such situations I have the impression that the tyres are balancing on the edge of grip the can offer but - surprisingly (and fortunately) - nothing bad ever happens. Moreover - even deliberate attempt to get the car into a light slip did not quite succeeded. Nevertheless, the unpleasant feeling - riding on the ice – doesn’t leave me. If not my previous experience with RainExpert 2, probably RainExpert 3 would recommend. But compared to RainExpert 2- I'm a bit disappointed: maybe I expected too much of them, but the predecessors - RainExpert 2- have set the bar high. Maybe it's a car issue, but to my Vectra - I would rather not buy them again. Read more Collapse

Driving Uniroyal RainExpert 3 is a pleasure and that's a comfort itself, I have had this particular brand before and I decided to buy this brand once again. Using this particular model you will be feel safe. My car is not very new but with these tyres I feel like I had a new car. Even if someone else will offer me a different cheaper tyres I will spend more money and go for these tyres. Despite the fact that it is a middle class tyre it is performed well. The safety is most important for me, I am a head of my family and I want to feel safe driving my car. Of course, good value for money. Honestly, I will recommend the brand. Good quality. Good wet grip and traction. God tyres for wet conditions . I do not drive very fast but Uniroyal RainExpert 3 are best tyres for them, who do not drive very fast. I didn’t have any problems with Uniroyal in the past. I never heard that someone else had any problems with Uniroyal. There is no need to moderate the tread wear. After driving over 50miles tyres looks good(that is the first season of the tyre). I'm shocked how good they looks like . They are still like new. These tyres already have my recommendation. If I had to choose again, I would still buy the same brand and model. Read more Collapse

I was encouraged by the good reviews, I bought two Uniroyal tyres in September and I drove around 2k km. I have to admit that they are good in the wet, especially when it comes to ruts and potholes - aquaplaning definitely is not a problem for RainExpert 3. Unfortunately thats end of good points. Tyre behave worse while cornering - it is so soft and tucked up, so I never knew what they will behave like when driving through the curves (I was testing it at different pressures) The worst is the failure! - the tyre just cracked at the curb (a manoeuvre we do few hundred times every year) - two holes on the side of the tyre. From oponeo I heard initially that the recognition of the complaint is unlikely ... Uniroyal also got rid of the problem. So I bought two premium brand tyres and I'm totally happy - the puddles can be a bit worse, but the wet is holding the same, and the stability and predictability in the corners is simply incomparable. No more savings, and certainly no more Uniroyal! I do not recommend, and I strongly advise against !!! Read more Collapse

Very good tyres, good grip in both low and high temperatures. I bought middle class tyres for the first time Usually I had a premium brand, but I cannot afford it any more, that is why I went for Uniroyal. I have read a very good revives on this practical model, and I decided to buy them. At Oponeo I’ve found Uniroyal RainExpert 3 very attractive price and nice service. That is also the first time I’d used this service. Delivery on time, small delay ( one working day). Very good traction, I’m happy with the noise level. Tyres are quite quiet. It is very important because I have a small child, and we are driving a lot with him. Tyres are quiet and our child can sleep in the car. I feel safe. Maybe Uniroyal are not good as premium brand as Continental or Michelin, however for this price these tyres are perfect. I don’t have to spend a lot to have a good value. I think, I will but this tyres again, and I will definitely recommend Uniroyal RainExpert 3! Read more Collapse

Hello. When it comes to buying these tyres I already had previous experience with the previous model Uniroyal RainExpert in my Vectra B. I am happy with them because they are next generation model. Back to Expert 3, tyres dash wildly on my CRV. On dry pavement excelllent, quiet and reliable. The fun begins when it’s starting to rain :) more water on the road, the better, and it really excel in the wet conditions, you can get into deep water and not feel discomfort at higher speed. In case of sudden braking the ABS doesn’t even kick in – tested it well. As for the wear I cannot yet tell much, because I bought it at the end of the season in 2015. If someone wants to drive in the countryside, I recommend the purchase of tyres suitable for such trips (the all terrain tyres). In short, sensational tares, very recommendable. As someone looking for a very good tyres on the standard roads this is the way to go. Read more Collapse

After changing the tyres my first impression was that Uniroyal RainExpert 3 is great in inequalities and noises suppression. The driving became more pleasant, the steering is now much better. They are softer than my previous tyres, so the driving is more comfortable for me. I've never lost control on those, even during aggresive braking on wet surface. I'm under great impression, because i've never expected such a good behaviour on wet surface i've never been unsure driving on this tyres. Great water draining. On sharp corners in rainy days my car never became understeered. On my previous tyres in rainy days I couldn't drive even 20 mph, because I've always lost control on turns. On Uniroyal RainExpert 3 I can drive almost 30 mph on turns and nothing wrong is going on. To consider, great tyres for people who like the feeling of stability. Read more Collapse

Hi, My name is Anthony and I want to share my opinion about this tyres. I have Uniroyal tyres on my car right now, I have bought then because the was very attractive price. Despite the fact that I do not have a huge experience, but really like this tyres. In my opinion the tyres are great! If I could I would buy only Uniroyal RainExpert 3 tyres once again (if the price will be attractive). Traction and noise level are good. There is no comparison with my previous budget class tyres. I drive a lot and Unirayal are still in the good condition, Quite good noise level. Tyres look good on my car, I like the treadwear. I think I will but this brand once again for my wife as well. price is attractive, I have bought tyres in Oponeo and I happy with that, I will order there once again. Hi, I have never give any reviews but now I have to write something about this tyres. I am 60 years old and I’m not too keen on computer. I have asked my son to help me. But I’ve bought Uniroyal tyres on the internet. I do not drive every single day, but I am very happy with this model: Uniroyal RainExpert 3. I have my car in the garage but tyres still look good. Very good traction, even if there is raining. I’m impressed. Nosie level is not amazing but for this price tyres are very good. I don’t drive a lot so I don’t mind. Very attractive price, I don’t want to spend a lot of money for the tyres, because for my driving middle call is enough. I like the wet grip, and fuel efficiency. Now I see that there is no need to buy a premium brand tyres, if for less money you can buy also very good middle class tyres as well. Very good choice! Read more Collapse

Tyre chosen accidentally and even with some aversion, because of the childhood memory, and it was almost 40 years ago, the father always telling me "Uniroyal"... I've always had it on the back of my head. That’s not right! Believe that many companies have made such technological breakthrough that you can only test it in practice and dispel any stereotypes. Tyre is really great in few respects, and look of it is nice and sporty. I could only complain that it may be a little soft, because it wears a bit more at the edges of the tread, but I'm aware that I'm riding a two ton, swinging refrigerator, and since buying I drove over 10000 km, and in between we were having holiday in Italy (done around 6000 km there), driving on winding roads at more than 40 degrees of heat which may be the reason of it. These tyres are quiet and have very good road grip. On the wet surface, at speeds of 130-160km extremely stable. I feel safe with them fitted on my car. I strongly recommend for the roads with ruts, sometimes cobbled, sewage manholes, even in such cases Uniroyals do not lose grip. Not even while quickly cornering. I'm driving on them for not too long, but they're getting there. Definitely my favourite for the summer. Premium brands are great but not really worth paying more. I will check tread wear after winter tyre change, tread pattern asymmetrical and deep cut. I recommend nitrogen inflation, good valves, very accurate balancing, and you can forget about them, at least for 3 seasons. If you are not a hash driver drifting or spinning on the traffic lights I can definitely recommend them! Read more Collapse

Hi, I purchased tyres at the beginning of March with the fresh date of production( DOT) from February, so the tyre was fresh straight from the factory. On the forums I found only two reviews about them (super tyres, driving on the wet surface- superb! ) How to rate the tyre if you drove only couple of days on them? People write such rubbish on the second day as they fit tyres on the car ... I waited a month, but still I wouldn’t be able to add too much if tested them for longer than this. They look like a premium tyre, driving comfort is ok. A little bit noisy, but certainly less than Debica or Kormoran. Handling on the wet ok. Traction is good too. I paid really good price per tyre in size 185/65/14 so I think for this price I wouldn’t find anything better. I RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE. Read more Collapse

I made my decision after reading some reviews and forums and I was not disappointed. The tyre is superbly holding to the wet roads, providing unmatched safety and reliability in rain. It is also very quiet and soft - provides a very high level of comfort, suppressing any surface inequalities. However with the softness of the tyre comes one drawback - with a more dynamic ride, you feel the "floating" of the car, which cause feeling of losing a full control over the vehicle. Therefore, I recommend these tyres to people driving in a fairly calm manner – they will be delighted by the comfort (like my wife who uses the car with Rain Expert 3 tyres). It’s hard to tell anything about the durability of these tyres as I’ve travelled about 5000 miles so far. But tyres look almost new. Read more Collapse

Hello. I have been using tyres since July (2015) and I have not been able to check them in the rain, because summer and autumn were really dry. Super soft tyres which perfectly behave in urban style driving. Roads in city are mainly made from a granite block not asphalt. Perfectly suppress inequalities which gives great comfort to a small car. In the course of improving driving techniques, tyres from Uniroyal are highly recommended due to the perfect wet grip and very short braking distance. In addition, one of the participants had just such a rubber on the car and really did well on the sliding mats (it's a pity that the tires are in the wife's car and not mine, because I would have the opportunity to test them on a professional track). I honestly recommend. Read more Collapse

I changed my old Dunlop tyres to Uniroyal RainExpert 3. I noticed quite a quality gap, driving stability, comfort, wet handling and fast cornering is really good. My car does not have any systems like ESP or ASR and its structure is as simple as a beer can so it does not make the handling easier. Before i could feel the smallest slip, wheel spin or a rut. Uniroyal makes all that pretty much nonexistent - the car is safe in all conditions and with every style of driving. Price is very attractive. Tyres are about 4000 km since June. I have travelled the city, long highways and the delicate terrain. I do not rate their economy because it’s too soon to tell yet but I'm sure they will not let me down. In the winter my choice is also Uniroyal. I can recommend! Read more Collapse

I drove on quite a few pairs of tyres in my life but those ones I'm very impressed with. I had the opportunity to take a corners on the wet surface, at a fairly high speed and tyres really stuck to the road. The surface was really wet during heavy rain. My driving style is normal, but often I quickly accelerate and also do some emergency braking. The tyres never let me down. I often go on to the curb, without the risk of damage. And the most interesting is the fact that the price is not too high when you buy. Fuel consumption has also dropped, maybe not significant with my V6, however, the distance on one refuelling has increased. I strongly recommend the "shark skin". Read more Collapse

Even quickly driving in to a deep puddle does not make much of an impression on these tyres. They stay well in the tight cornets despite the small size. Only inequalities are not suppressed as I would like it but it certainly results from the size (the tyre almost like a bike :) - I'm not saying it's bad. On the other hand, in straight-ahead driving even with large ruts, they are very stable and predictable. On gravel they also behave in an easily predictable way, clearly giving the signal (slowly and gradually slipping) that in a moment grip may be broken. I recommend a good purchase - I will buy them again in the future. Great quality at a reasonable price Read more Collapse

I purchased 2 tyres on the front axle since the previous ones were faulty. So far no problems at all. Very good grip in the dry. In the rain as the name suggests really are a rain expert :) When it comes to driving in the rain I have not had a better tyre so far. To break the grip on the move you have to really try. No instability while braking, ABS did not activate at all, as with some other tyres and sudden braking is the norm. I won’t write anything about their durability or rolling resistance because I have them for long enough. They are only being slightly noisy at high speed motorways but not lower speeds than that. I've bought Uniroyal RainExpert 3 to see how the newest model behaves in different weather conditions. They do great job on dry and wet as well. Sveral times I've hampered on wet surface and I've drove over puddles- every time the grip was perfect an I've had 100% control. Also in really rainy days the watter draining was satisfying. Driving on dry they were a little bit hearable, but still they're silent enough. During aggressive braking on dry they didn't disappointed me also. Treadwear is not so fast - they last for 2 seasons, perhaps I'm not a driver who drives a lot ('bout 12 thousand miles per year). Tread is aggressive and good looking. Read more Collapse

Very good traction and stability of the vehicle on the wet roads at high speeds. Stability and precision are way above average. In a mud terrain, the traction is just as good as the typical AT tyres. The advantage is the price and high above average durability, especially when taking sharp corners or doing other aggressive maneuvers. You can drive as fast as you want through the deepest puddles and not lose the grip at all. The one downside I can think of is noise level, but not annoying or anything like that, minimally noisier compared to the typical summer road tyres I had in my car. Noticeable above 140km / h. in my volvo v40. Diesel 115hp. Read more Collapse

I work as a taxi driver over 3 years, I chose Uniroyal tyres after long research and it was a good choice. Uniroyal tyres are part of the German manufacturer Continental. They really show good durability and a great performance on the wet surface, the grip is unparalleled, I like driving fast and the tyres never let me down. Good rolling resistance causing less fuel consumption, is not as loud as some might say, probably depends on the size of the tyre, but overally the tyre looks make an amazing impression! Uniroyals are almost a premium class! I recommend it with a clear conscience because I do not find any flaws at all! Regards Read more Collapse

The tyres are really good on wet conditions. It is slightly noisy and has increased rolling resistance, but you cannot have everything. I forgive them for the slightest noise and rolling resistance. I bought, because I've already driven Uniroyal tyres and I think they are very good. I'm very happy. I recommend it to everyone and I want to add that the Uniroyal Brand is very good, I can only go for Uniroyal. I also recommend Oponeo, the service was very friendly, I called the customer service and the goods I received as promised, in a short time. I recommend buying on this site. I hope that my opinion will be useful. Read more Collapse

I'm very pleased with them. These are really rain tyres. Braking on wet surface feels like the car stops almost immediately. I was really surprised, that in such a conditions the braking distance was so short. On wet driving is really comfortable. They are silent and stabile. In this price you cannot find better tyres than Uniroyal RainExpert 3. During sudden braking abs doesn't joins is, its really hard to makre the car slip. The grip is perfect and provides you with great safety. The inequalities suppression is more than satisfying. Read more Collapse

I bought a set, and used for less than 2k. km but in all conditions, especially rainy and even during light ice, speed up to 130km / h and that's why I think they are great for any occasion. At the beginning I drove in large puddles at high speed, as nobody was around and I did not even feel the lack of losing a grip. When driving on a wet surface, they are amazingly quiet. Rolling resistance is standard, because I do not observe a significant difference in combustion, although it is slightly smaller. Read more Collapse

Tyres bought in May, I had them for about 8k miles ( I drive a lot) and they never let me down. Dry or wet or even paved road, good braking, good grip (never slipped on the road), I drive many miles on a daily basis due to the type of work I do. Been driving on very different surfaces; on country roads or concrete motorways and plenty of others. I expected to damage them sooner or later but nothing like that ever happened. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! ... they look great too! Read more Collapse

Wet weather grip is insanely brilliant, dry weather traction is like glue, soft rubber composition means a shorter life span, but I feel safe every time I drive on rain expert 3:rubber so nothing else will do for my car, there rain technology cannot be matched and aquaplaining does not exist with my car either in harsh rain conditions, my use of these tyres are always for many years, for a medium caliber tyre they ride like premium brands and beyond. A very good set of tyres all and all. I’d say get a set of 4 than just a pair as they’re simply a rare tyre, gripping on the wet wise, that would make your driving in the rain safer and smoother. On the down side, as a medium range tyre some noise is expected and as a rain tyre - worning off fairly faster comes into acquisition. Read more Collapse

Very good tires. They're great for a small, light hatchback. The difference is obvious when driving in heavy rain and while driving on a muddy, unpaved road. They keep great in corners, regardless of the condition of the surface. The noise is comparable to other tires, it does not interfere with travel. Burning also rather unchanged. Well suppress the unevenness of the road, which I encounter every day quite a lot (mainly a road in the area undeveloped by the forest). It's hard for me to judge tire wear - I have not driven enough on them. The tread's appearance deserves a great deal, but the appearance is probably the least important element of the tire compared to safety, comfort or combustion. To sum up - I recommend, especially those who move mainly outside the city, who want to feel confident on the road, regardless of the weather. The more so because the price of tires is not too high. I'm a woman and I do not know on tires :) I only know that on the previous tires (I Fulda, Debica, and yet one that, unfortunately, I do not remember the brand) I happened to slip in the rain. Of course, it could also be the result of other factors, but the existing slip did not happen and it makes you feel "them" safe. And this is what should go! When it comes to durability and appearance, then I will base the sentence, plant manager, where every year changing tires - while the recent change to winter tires when you hear that drove them nearly 15000 km, stated that they are in very good condition and looks good . Durable tires 35000 km. The heat simply disappear in their eyes. After the first season 2 of 4 got beat vertical and at higher speeds began to cause problems (vibrations of the steering wheel). the second season already beat all four, so I could not go faster than 110 km / h. Balancing nothing helped. In the last month I started to catch slippers in the most worn-out. This was the front wheels on them was only a means, the outer edges of the disappeared virtually to zero. The air pressure is normal. When it comes to braking that I had better tires. As for durability and feeling of driving in hot weather (on winding mountain roads) it did not have worse. The tire is operated in a low-power car, a quiet ride, so I foresee that just a few years, the tread is aggressive, well drains water, facilitates starting on wet pavement, by the way does not generate a lot of noise. For dry most of today's tires is good, this also. Tires look sensational, great design. The choice fell on Uniroyal due to a very good price in size 175/65 R15. In the next year, I changed a tire in the second car, where power is more - 150HP, but because of low prices in a size that I need - 205/55 R16 refered to face Dunlop BluResponse - mainly due to lower rolling resistance and lower noise, generated by the tire. I highly recommend them and then OPONEO is SERIOUS and PROFESSIONAL deliveries. Thank you Read more Collapse
