    Opinion from outside the UK

I have summer tyres from this manufacturer, which I'm very pleased with. When it comes to winter I previously used the Pirelli Carving Edge and I have to admit that Vredestains are not able to compete with them, despite the tread of the same type (symmetrical, directional). It is a different class of tyres though. Someone wrote somewhere that these tyres are meant to be for compact cars, relatively light and maybe there is something in it. I would have to try to actually make an opinion on it, however in my case these tyres lose their grip quite fast even in dry conditions so it may be though. It just doesn't go with my car. I'm also not a huge fun of the sound that they make outside of the car while driving in the rain, this is probably caused by the discharge of water from under the wheels. Although I must admit that they very nicely suppress inequality of the road. I recommend to those with light cars. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I would definitely recommend. I have been going since the beginning of the winter season 2014-2015 (skoda superb combi) tires excel sensational, mud, snow, rain, dry surface. The most surprised me the noise level, the assumption can not hear the difference between a summer tire (continental was) very quiet. I did not pay too much attention to the label 69dB but today as I rode the same Superb but with Pirelli tires (tires and the car new in February 2015) and Pirelli have checked 72dB but it is terribly tragic howl. Therefore Snowtrac5 recommend for people who drive cars silent, hear me hum of the engine and not the tire howl. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Tyre perfectly holds on to the road both in dry and wet conditions, and in addition it is very quiet. I am very positively surprised by this tyre. Although the label says something else I think they are slightly corrupted and make this tyre to be worst than it is in reality. I have not had the opportunity to see this tyre in the snow yet, but when I do I'll share the information how it behaves. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

After one season and about 8000 miles I've noticed that the tyre is quite loud and I will be able to use it maybe a half of next season. Large tread wear, which should indicate a good grip on snow and ice but no, unfortunately not. I've read many good reviews on it and I was expecting more. I was expecting a cool, affordable tyres, but they disappointed me. Perhaps I had too big expectations. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Honestly, I hesitated to buy these tyres because of the label (E, C). But now after driving 9000 miles I recommend this tyre to anyone who is looking for a winter tyre that is quiet and holds on to the road very well in dry and wet conditions. It's sensational on snow and slush. I am very happy with this purchase. For the summer season I'll probably also buy something from this manufacturer. Read more Collapse
