235/70 R16 tyres are designed for different types of cars. They are installed both in passenger cars, delivery vehicles and 4x4s. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall. The first number informs about the tread width of the 235/70 R16 tyre and it is provided in millimetres. The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width (here 70% out of 235 mm). The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
