Although the name Apollo directs our thinking to a completely different place, the brand comes from India. The company was established in 1972. It quickly became one of the world’s largest tyre manufacturers, which quickly expanded into Asian, African and European markets.

A new stage in the brand’s development was marked by starting a cooperation with the Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, who branded the tyres with his name.

In 2009, Apollo Tyres, based in India, bought out the Dutch company Vredestein and changed its name to Apollo Vredestein BV. As a result, the concern increased its production capacity. The brand’s tyres have earned popularity and trust among drivers thanks to their good quality/price ratio.

The following car manufacturers cooperate with the Apollo brand: Audi, Mercedes, Fiat, Volkswagen and Mitsubishi.

Apollo supports world class football. It sponsors and supplies safe tyres for Manchester United.

Our customers' opinions on Apollo tyres:

    Apollo Alnac 4G All Season

After eleven months of use (from March 2015) with almost all weather conditions, I am very happy with the choice of Apollo 4season tyres (Dutch production) which are close cousins with Vredestain Quatrac5. Facts about 20000 km and still seem new. In the wet are really valid and high adhesion; a little less on a dry road in summer with almost 40 ° where you feel that the cornering grip is definitely lower than a summer tire, but is under control. Also tested on snow and icy snow, and there is no comparison with the summer. Passed without the slightest slip even the ramp of an underground garage. Definitely a winter will be better, but only with a lot of snow! Plus they are really silent. See more > Just put, my Bora seemed another car. If you do not make many kilometres, and you do not live in the mountains, it is a great choice.

    Apollo Alnac 4G

I chose the tyres because of their C rolling resistance B wet grip and 69 db noise level, as well as the ADAC test, where they were among the recommended tyres. The tyres have so far lived up to their label and are not inferior at all to the FULDA ecocontrol.I hope that the wear resistance will be reasonable and that they will last a few thousand kilometres.
