Bridgestone Potenza S001

I am driving a BMW E90. This type of tyre gives me exactly what I expected from it. Recently, I drove a lot on the highways and felt more confident on these tyres than on the standard offered by BMW. In high-speed curves, traction control is triggered much later than before or at higher speed when cornering. Despite the fact that I am driving on the RFT, the noise when passing through the tracks or the smoothness on local roads is not higher than in the case of traditional tyres, which surprised me very positively. I bought these tyres because they are Bridgestones and I knew they would be PREMIUM. I'm totally satisfied, they are perfectly quiet at a speed of 100 mph you can still normally chat in the car. When it comes to fuel consumption they seem to have reduced it by 0.5l per 100 miles. Driving on wet is just fabulous, the car nicely sticks to the road. Very cool tires. I compare them to the Pirelli P Zero Nero in the same size. Generally they are very similar - that is very good. Bridgestone Potenza S001 are more predictable and give more warning signs. At the same rim Bridgestone tyres are clearly wider. Tyres allow a lot, both on dry and wet roads, except that they are always predictable. Potenza has less rolling resistance - parking maneuvers also noticeably easier, the wheel is not spinning too much. Read more Collapse

Tyres used in everyday driving middle-class premium car with a powerful diesel engine. Tyres act exactly as a premium class tyres should. Bridgestone Potenza S001 are fairly quiet, provide good contact and adhesion to the substrate. They have a wide margin of safety. Excellent maneuverability, great on dry, wet. A slight humming noise at 50km / h above. Quiet below this speed. Perfect grip. Used mainly outside the city, I covered 10,000 km on it this season, trips to the mountains, a holiday trip to Croatia, tight turns on the local islands, thanks to which I was able to tyre them a bit. I highly recommend Bridgestone Potenza S001. The tyre does not lose too much grip during fast traction. The parameters are similar to the ones used in Potenza R50E. These were replaced like for like and recommended by BMW so I have no reference for comparison, they do the job they are meant to. The run-flat combined with the M Sport setup do give quite a hard ride, potholes!! but this was expected. All in all, so far, I have had no problems with these tyres. Read more Collapse

Audi web site is less expensive than the Audi garage. They took two months to have them available for me. Oponeo had them delivered to me in only a few days and was cheaper. Medium-quality HP tyre. It does everything on average, definitely in this size it does the worst on wet surfaces, despite the quattro drive. I recommend it to people buying new tyres who do not want to overpay, but want to get a solid tyre at a decent price. Read more Collapse

These tyres perform very well in s55 AMG. Grip is superb on dry and wet. Slightly noisy but not too much. The tyres wear quite quickly but this is a combination of rwd and powerful engine. Driven 8k miles and 4 mm tread left. Read more Collapse

Slips several times a week at roundabouts or at right angles when the road is wet. The rear side slides away. Ideal for drifting but would have expected more grip for such a price range/brand. Read more Collapse

They are loud & hard. You feel every inch of the bumpy road. But they are grippy for the first 10,000 miles. Then get they get a bit slippy. I have them on my BMW 125D M Sport Read more Collapse
