A decent tyre that suits our Nissan Murano in terms of noise levels and grip in wet and dry. But a large SUVs is not the type of vehicle you tend to push any form of tyre limit so grip can only be judged under moderate driving levels. Noise levels and comfort and easier to judge and I do rate these Dunlops very highly on that front. Motorway driving is a lovely experience with minimal tyre noise. My only criticism is that the tread depth is not very deep and as a result get to their wear indicators too quickly. After only 10,000 miles tyres look like they are ready for new ones. The tread pattern is very small and as a result lots of small stones get stuck in the tread. Not the best design on a 4x4 tyre I would have thought. However, overall a decent tyre and I would buy again. I bought online at £104 a tyre. Don't think I would want to pay anymore for this brand considering the wear rate Read more Collapse

Opinion from outside the UK
I received the tyres with my new car. I assumed that all-season tyres were poor in winter. Unfortunately, the first snow confirmed this, hence the decision to get a second set of winter tyres. I thought this would solve the problem. Nothing could be further from the truth. It's not that the tyre doesn't perform well off-road (except on dry paved roads), but that it is simply useless on the road. After 30,000 miles it is simply bald!!! The sides of the tread, which in 4x4 tyres should be reinforced, seem to have been softened. The sides of the tyre are bald. I even thought there was a problem with the alignment, but nothing like that was found. Anyway, the winter tyres are perfect. In other words, a typical tyre for a new car showroom display. So it doesn't matter that it's not good, but it does reduce the price of a new car! Read more Collapse

In my honest opinion, i think these tyres are an absolute, credit to dunlop, i have use them in offroad condition, mud on steep hills, deep snow on hils, if anyone has had problems with these tyres, then you need to think about how your driving the vehicle, i have them on a Diahatsu Terios, as seen on Top gear, the vehicle is one thing but without the right rubber on the wheels your in trouble, i have just purchased another set as they hold the road well and perform fantastic offroad too, Read more Collapse

We have several off-road and normal vehicles in the company. The Murano on which they are installed is my own personal one, but having the company vehicles at my disposal I was able to compare the performance of different tyres. In summary, my opinion is that the shoulder is a bit high, which disadvantages the tyre on fast bends. It is slightly noisy, but in line with other tyres in the same category. Excellent durability. I bought these tyres for my Dodge Caliber (Diesel) SUV which is mainly used as a Motorway commuter car covering 100 miles a day. The tyres have covered more than 30k miles (50,000KM) in the 2 years since fitted which is far more than I have experienced with other premium brand tyres over the past 10 years or more. I would definitely recommend Dunlop Grandtrek tyres for this type of usage. Read more Collapse

This is the tyre that was on the car at the time of purchase. I bought the car in winter and drove about 150 km on them from the place I bought the car. After that, I immediately bought 2 sets of winter tyres, because it may be all-season, but probably in the south of Italy, then it will wear quickly. Generally I don't recommend it, for an SUV it is not good at all Read more Collapse

Summer road tyre - quiet on asphalt, good ride comfort but nothing for free, "soft" compound, fast wear, not good for slippery or muddy surfaces. If only for city and road use (in summer), then I recommend it. I do not know why the M+S designation is made of a soft compound, but it is not sufficient for winter driving. Read more Collapse

If this tyre didn't have the ALL-SEASON inscription it would be ok, if it was sold as a summer tyre I would rate it high, especially as you can't see that it wears out. In the dry it handles very nicely, but when it's snow/ice/mud it's like the car has no tyres at all, i.e. you drive and drive and you can't stop:/ Read more Collapse

A tyre used only in summer, wore out after two seasons. Who put it in the all-season category? Suicide? A disaster on snow, not to mention ice. On the road, even in summer it is terrible to drive straight, and in the rain it is better to keep speed to a minimum. This is a typical very cheap tyre for a first car. Read more Collapse

Poor off-road performance, for wet gravel, mud, grass - hopeless! These are typical asphalt tyres, without side reinforcements. On the photo they look much more attractive. as for me - too soft. Read more Collapse
