Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 is a proud successor of the SP Winter Response. It is a premium-class winter tyre designed to give the user the highest confidence and safety. Dunlops philosophy is that the more you feel the road, the more exciting the drive becomes that is why driving on Dunlop SP Winter Response make driving different.
Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 provide the user with excellent cornering grip on snow. The new Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 features a tread pattern with 45 degree shoulder sipes and thanks to that the user receives a better traction when cornering on snow and ice. It gives a lot of confidence and safety as you do not have to bother about any slips. The high-density sipes also means that there are more biting edges for improved wet weather braking and handling, as well as better traction on snow and ice.
Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 is equipped with their innovative Reverse Snowguide block pattern. This feature captures snow in the centerline of the tyre tread for increased contact area. As an effect the tyre has improved grip when braking and accelerating.
Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 has improved rolling resistance by optimized shape carcass construction. It means less deformation in comparison to a standard tyre and thanks to that the user receives better fuel economy. What is more Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 has an Asymmetric tread design which improves handling and aquaplaning resistance. The center rib increases stability and precision and as an effect it provide the user with improved performance on straight lines around corners
Winter driving conditions can differ greatly. From snow or sleet to cold and dry, these conditions make high demands on a tyre. The Dunlop’s Multi Blade System meets this challenge head on, with different types of blades for varying winter road conditions. Dunlop SP Winter Response 2 has also its unique rubber compound that delivers high levels of grip, particularly on wet roads and in low temperatures
