Kormoran SNOWPRO

3PMSF

The tyre meets the European Union's requirements for winter tyres

Carries the 3PMSF (Three Peak Mountain Flake) symbol, which is awarded after the model in question has been thoroughly tested for snow grip.

Kormoran SNOWPRO is a winter budget class tyre, which is designed for middle-class cars. Kormoran is a Polish brand, which now belongs to Michelin. The brand launches summer and winter tyres for different types of vehicles. Its good quality products are at attractive price, making them one of the best option.

Engineers have used in Kormoran SNOWPRO a directional tread pattern, which in conjunction with a wide centre channel system combined with lateral grooves provides quick and efficient water evacuation from front part of the tyre. Drying tread decreases the risk of aquaplaning and the ride is stable even during extreme weather conditions. Shorter braking distances and safe behaviour during launch and acceleration provide optimized tread pattern. Flexible rubber compound, which is characterized by reduction of vibration, ensures comfort.

Kormoran SNOWPRO is based on a modern blend which is characterized by flexibility in a wide range of temperatures. The tyre gets larger surface to contact with the ground, and this results in better grip and optimum driving safety. Strong tread blocks are responsible for a perfect transfer of the steering wheel on the road, so driving is characterized by precision and greater comfort. Rounded edges ensure a smooth change of direction while travelling on uneven surfaces. The model is ideal for drivers who expect the tyres to be safe, reliable and durable in extreme weather conditions.

    Opinion from outside the UK

Judge only tyre on dry and wet roads (in the snow is not checked, the ice is to be spikes) - they've been going on since the beginning of October. When it rains at temperatures 0-10 degrees behave much better than summer Conti EP, (I should not compare summer and winter tyres but contact is theoretically seasons and in these conditions I can still ride a year) Głośnawe at 70 - 80 but above and so they do not drown out the roar can be heard as air. Have less rolling resistance than Conti EP - a car much less smoke. when it comes to cornering grip, etc etc is for normal driving is sufficient. I do not know how durable (for a small distance) but I think it definitely better than my summer (Continent life is a tragedy). On dry asphalt comparable to the summer EP explicitly softer though - you have to get used. We have not had any "mishaps" with the grip. Do not judge the behavior on snow and ice because I did not drive. Main complaints we read it too thick tread - Michelin has yet densely incised grooves (and smaller spacing between them). For this class of car and my driving (max 110.120 of the city - an average of 80 on the road 110 -, 140) are entyrely sufficient. There is no need to overpay especially since I became convinced that Continental tyre EP is much more expensive and hopeless. As someone considered to be Hołowczyc let stuninguje Lanos and buy sports tyres for £ 600 each. Read more Collapse

I have them already 4 season. I put the Omega A (2.0 8v) now i have 2 season B (2.0 16v automatic). Ride 2 people (myself calmer, she dynmiczniej :-)). Despite their poor reviews and dismal tests in the press, I'm more than happy. In fact, the common sense in the snow very properly. I drive on winter missions Conti and Pirelli (Focus) and subjectively my hard Oma sensational moves on chewing Kormoran. abrasion very good, I'm sure they will do five season. Of course, the snow and ice, it is easy to criticize the rear-wheel drive, but braking is decent if not even good. I was going to have a memorable winter (I think 2002 or 2003) to the sea (25 December) in kopnym snow arrived. The fact that the speed of 55 km / h was abroad, but no conditions were terrible. I just sold out :-) I bought a 4x4 even chains, but never put on (let someone try to do it in Omie And standing in a snowdrift!). I think the main reason for my satisfaction is the large mass of the car (1400 kg). In small cars could be worse. Do you buy again? If I had the funds for the better, I would probably try something else, but if you want to spend the minimum, I would buy it again. Oh: I noticed that the geometry setting has not eliminated the download to the right. Immediately assuming summer, new, see if mechanical fault, or Michelin. In the rain can go 180 km / h and more stress-free. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Tires purchased around September at a very good price. I decided to buy tires class budget because I wanted to see how they fall against brand more innovative solutions and what can I say more expensive solutions. I took advantage therefore of solutions available to suit all pockets. My choice fell on the Kormoran Snowpro to see if anything else was left of the glory years "Cormorants" in the days of Stomil. Until now I rode Michelinach Alpine and Pirelli Snowcontrol. It is worth noting that the tires were settled for small passenger cars will with a quiet style of driving in urban conditions. Well tires surprised me very positively, they are somehow terribly louder compared to the above. Toy car was entered and quietly came and went with snow in the parking lot, without burying you in a crisis, after a sharp braking on a slippery surface managed to avoid a collision. Most importantly, I have not noticed an increase combustion after the founding of "winter tires" and excessive tread wear. After driving nearly 15000 km still have hair on the sides of the tires. Tires can recommend to anyone preferującemu quiet ride, not worth buying used tires premium, it is better to buy new because even though they are manufactured older technology, it still excel on the road. Opinion from outside the UK

I have had the worst winter tyres! Used together with the old model Cormorant Winter S-100. Effects? Winter 12letni founded on the front and the back Snowpro: I can easily drive a car for every up, move up the hill from the light, effectively navigate through the snow and slush with no major concerns is that I can not slow down and the back rolls as if it was possessed! !! At a speed of 40 km / h forward obediently respond to your steering while the back just waiting for an opportunity to get out of control. I thought it was maybe just the nature of this winter so I swapped my Golf tyres - Snowpro flew to the front and the back of the old honest Wintery. So what? Rear or twitch (of course at a reasonable speed) while the front ... Massacre! I have to watch the road because the braking distance is terribly long, just have to be wary of any ramps because as far as to be able to move those in almost any conditions, so these are seldom goes. Tyres tested in Samara, and Astra MK2 Golf Classic. Everywhere the same behavior. I gave it to my brother to replace the S-100 and after a week decided to assume, however, that back in the old. Honestly, I can only recommend them suicides. Read more Collapse

No przewaliłem on these tyres a few miles and so on: the behavior of the snow, slush and dry OK, but driving on wet asphalt ... wish to talk. Each press hebla violent ends lock wheels. A complete failure. For this same tyre life is a lottery. One is torn to zero after 30 thousand miles (enough). Second the peeled about 3 mm tread lost it! Block was - slats are gone! I have a picture as to what. The other two, despite this progress they still have about 50% tread but ... much of the notches, grooves and disappeared lamalek which makes the tyre tread blocks are only ... nothing else ... So cheap winter tyre providing driving in the winter, no more than 3 thousand km. After two seasons tyres very pokruszały (jaby a minimum of 10 years had), a large number of small cracks and other signs indicating the rapid aging of the tyre. The only advantage - in case of damage to the hole such as cheap buy another - what else but the road is not for someone who's really a lot of rides and expects the tyre safety above all - do not recommend. It is worth to spend the hundred bucks more per unit and buy something better ... Read more Collapse

Begin a four season use of these tyres - all the time the same set (I know, it's been too long! - In a few days I'm going to get rid of them even though the tread design "is not bad"). In the first season were, for me, a very good buy - I go frequently to ski - I had no problems with overcoming snowy and icy "hills". In the second season did not disappoint me. The third season, it's the beginnings of trouble on the road, the difficulty of staying on it (on icy and snow-covered slopes). The beginning of the fourth season - the fear in his eyes! rage that blocks traffic even at a small hill! In rainy conditions, in dry conditions, with positive temperatures - excel decently at all times. Summary - not expensive enough completely for 2 seasons. For those who have lived in areas other than the foothill and mountain areas, it will be a very good choice. For this, the state of Polish roads, I wish to spend more money - after 2 years, and so the tyres will be replaced. Read more Collapse

I went to KORMORANACH WINTER S 100, but unfortunately, the tyre fell apart one after 7 years. I bought two new Snowpro for the same company and put on the front axle as the new thinking that will be even better than the S-100. A miracle saved me from the gate crushes garage. It is slightly downhill and the new tyres do not want to inhibit. The next morning the husband to push my car because I could not leave. Today, old tyres back on the front axle and the new devil is on the rear axle. I'm leaving the garage without any problems, but the corners have to be very careful because the rear of the car has a tendency to resort to the sides. The snow act like summer. At the s-100 never ran into a skid and drove about 25000 km in winter, the longer Snowpro I did. It is very difficult to control. Winter misunderstanding. I'm working on where we assemble a car tyre by customer feedback and our own estimate as a good tyre for the road conditions around the drawback I tend to generate vibrations even with perfect body balance (noticeable at speeds above 110 km / h), very quiet compared to the competition, not really recommended for people with severe leg but in normal use are OK. After one season, no signs of wear. With moderate use should last 3 seasons (in my 90000 km), I highly recommend a quiet drivers, and the insane are just spikes and chains! as I read the Opinion of poor adhesion on the ice to make me weak, I see artists such as the daily drive to work (55 miles one way) keeps them on the road unless Divine Providence certainly not because the tyre! I bought these tyres with the car, so I had no choice. This is my third winter tyres (Pirelli 190 and the Cristall Kleber HP). Reading the opinions of some other people thought it was awful crap. And it does not. The differences compared to the previous tyres are not large (preferably held in Pirelli but we were the loudest, Kleber very good in the mud e pośniegowym, but the fresh snow a little string). If winter tyres are more important umiejętość driving in the winter. Recently I was in Zakopane, drove up with no problem at the hill without chains, where swanky car slipped on goodyeayach ultra gipach 6th Kartoflowaty tread very conducive to riding in the fresh snow, the ice worse. Other secondary parameters. Overall - do not have the money for expensive tyres but you know what it takes to ride in the winter - you can handle it without a problem. In summary tyres good for a low price. Read more Collapse

Initially I was very happy with them, but winter quickly verified my feelings. Tyres completely not suitable for driving in winter. Practically, it is impossible to accelerate them even on the fine snow. ZERO on packed snow traction and control. I drove to Matadorach MP55Plus, Daytonach D500, Fuldach Kristal and Debica Frigo and these tyres are probably even worse than Debica. Just a tragedy. After the winter I decided to overdrive them and buy new ones the next. In summer, quite surprisingly well exercised and there was no feeling of tyre softening even at 30 °. But the terrible wet again. More dynamic moving the cause wheel spin and high-speed corners strong dose of adrenaline. Relatively quiet as winter tyres and quite comfortable. Relatively minor wear. After the course I still have 25,000 about 5 mm tread and remind them that I would go to all year. Read more Collapse

Tyres bought in October. So far I do not have particularly to what is attached, and a lot of riding over 100 miles a day. Behavior on dry asphalt is normal, the tyres were supposed to be loud, but I have found nothing of the sort. On wet asphalt tyres fonatnnę doing pretty good as I fall into ruts on the road. Auto goes on rails. The only thing that bothered me at the beginning is that the car runs a little differently than previous tyres, but a matter of habit. Until then it was winter so I do not know how to behave in the snow but I recommend these tyres jeżdzącym normally not recommended for riding far too fast for our roads - even the best tyres will not help. I tyre replacement S100 wonderful because I cracked wires are only 2 seasons (about 7000 km) and is already planning to change them on the Goodyear Ultra Grip seventh Driving on these tyres is suicide, both at low speeds and large, tyres can and are suitable for winter but for those that do not exceed 30 km / h going on Sundays to pray. For me, it is a tragedy and strongly advise against purchasing this tyre, like a low price but it costs a lot of body workshops and do not agree with many here that the views and opinions of the tyre as excellent for its price. want to make a comment, after reading the reviews and comments I would like to say and tyres really are working. Opinions and swimming, noise, not sticking to the roads are ridiculous! Overall impression very good - I'm happy with them. I go to them and especially Season 3 not only shows signs of wear has podtarte front edges. Rating 4 for snow because the wet snow you zachowć sense. I generally ride in the winter rather quickly (80-100), sometimes slides controlled and has not had any problems. Not happened to me in them niekontrlolowany skid. Perhaps due to the ABS, which is especially in these conditions is a very useful thing. Not happened to me also buried anywhere but rode in the snow 35 cm and no one to push me. The only noticeable drawback is rumbling at a speed of 40-50 km / h, then it is normal. Unfortunately during the second winter tyres do not resemble the previous year. In this case, the assessment of snow and ice reduced by 2 points! I had a lot of problems with adhesion. Opinion from outside the UK

I've had it for one season and sold the car. Good in the snow, even high, the compacted too, I have not had any problems, and the season looked almost like new. Something I tell you, if a man carries a reasonable car in the winter, rather than ahead of the bend or suddenly stops from 120 km / h in difficult conditions, I recommend. When the tyre says the "pirate" or amateur let him behind the wheel is not complaining, because it does not satisfy the best tyre and did not save before cullet. You have to go in winter and slower reasonable by 30% and then Cormorant work as it should. One more thing, you have to practice starting and stopping, and there will be surprises on the road and complain about what is wrong tyre. Read more Collapse

As for me tyres bomb! Przelatałem on them the whole winter season 2006/2007 and never once failed me and I do not drive like the proverbial "pensioner". It is worth noting that I live in the mountains, and here we have the drifts and blizzards that urbanites (as someone insulted przpraszam) for example, have no idea how not to hide the car to Graz this morning, shovel and dig sometimes he buried the roof. Never mind. Returning to the tyres stick very well in the snow and mud, snow and even on wet surfaces give advice. When driving in the corners of the imagination any doproawdzą to an end. I bought the tyres "of coercion" - I shot while driving in Goodyer'ach UltraGrip cord. The next workshop had only Cormorants, so I bought a set. Driving on dry and wet asphalt unqualified (for any winter tyres ride max. 140 km / h - faster risking life). Rolling resistance and noise acceptable for the price. Good drainage and snow. The problem begins with chilled with snow - you have to move the two, on the ice, even with three (I think my 117km is too much for these tyres). The same inhibition - a touch of the pedal to turn on ABS option box. Previous tyres - Flda Cristal and Goodyear UltraGrip it does not behave. I go in November, so I do not know how to behave at the surface temperature. 10 degrees Read more Collapse

I do not agree with in / in opinions, because it is by. Super Fine tyre me where przejeżdziłem 2 years without changing the summer (major expenses). I drove on them and almost 45,000 tread wear is eligible for replacement only 2 front and rear are ok! Perhaps the value is no longer in terms of the properties of winter but when it comes to abrasion, it is a very durable tyre. I will only add that I did during the summer of original Bridgestonkach barely 40 thousand. and they looked a lot Marnie than the 45,000 currently Snowpro continuous summer-winter driving for 2 years! VERY GOOD TYRES! Maybe not the best in its class, but I was surprised by its strength and behavior in winter conditions. I recommend! Read more Collapse

Given that the bottom shelf pleasant surprise this tyre. Auto trzma well on wet roads and snow even sharper driving. Reservations can be for driving on ice and is especially notorious for speeding wheels lose grip, even with gentle handling of gas, inhibition of the "threesome" with a plus. The tyre is actually pretty loud, but not oppressively somehow. As far as the wear rate is at 26 thousand km not seem to tread a little bit disappeared. Still looks and performs like new after 3 seasons, even though it Owner of the first autumn rains at temperatures 10 - 12'C. Tyres in general are not suitable for winter (lack of grip in the snow - slip even with gentle curves and overcoming problems with traction at low speed when we ride uphill - the wheels are spinning in place). In my opinion rated tyres are not suitable for driving in winter because their characteristics is the cheapest tyres closer to the summer. For Kormoranach ridden two seasons - I got rid of them because of fear of losing "one's life" and went back to the previous, so Fuld (model: Kristal Montero), which present a much better level than Cormorants Snow Pro. Opinion from outside the UK

Due to the sudden failure of your car (Mitsubishi Carisma, Continental tyres), for this year's trip to the mountains I picked up a borrowed car (Honda Civic) equipped with these tyres. Experience that I have provided these tyres will never forget. They do not have any characteristics of winter tyres. On snow or ice do not provide even the slightest grip. Driveways at the snow-covered slopes with a slope greater than 5 degrees are virtually impossible. Sudden and unexpected thing constant slippage. Lateral - no. To make matters worse, the tyres are terribly noisy at speeds over 100 km / h My advice: if you nice life, do not buy these tyres! Read more Collapse

I bought it recently and I have only the rear axle (drive). Currently, I can only share pierszymi impressions, mainly for driving in the wet. I think is pretty good! I had a long time on the wheels summer (despite cold temperatures) and in the wet they behave much better than my well used FIRESTONE 680th I did not notice a volume increase in the rolling resistance is ok, but I reserve that they drive safely in the winter and so far I have not tried them in kopnym snow - so I write again. Already was using a lot of winter tyres. I am sorry I have to admit that these are rather weak tyres. Lateral on the water - a total tragedy, inhibition of the water - too weak. Driving on snow - quite, quite, riding on ice - but after a little ice, only the noise level and the price may go ahead and compete with branded tyres. Personally, I do not buy them anymore. But if you do not let a lot of cash on them will think (unless it is important for the noise - then you better wintery S100). I personally find most disturbing Snowpro weak grip on the water. Accidentally bought some tyres (need to quickly change the tyres at a reasonable price instead of drugs from abroad). A bad tyre on dry and wet. The snow - for me a failure. Bollard on snow tyres is the deadline for anything strange. I drove on these tyres for 3 seasons and would rather not buy them anymore (now the revised car). Apart from the "tragedy snow" tyres are quite unstable. Is felt as a kind of "ciastowatości" steering. When you turn the steering wheel if the car wondering when and to what extent the spin. I just think that you are buying tyres for your summer tyre sizes! I do not know why, but ... Winter tyre powinnna be MUCH narrower than summer tyres, and that in order to improve the center of gravity on the body surface. Further, the larger the winter tyre that becomes logical that holds less surface! I rather you did not know! Look at the cars racing in the winter rallies, as they have very narrow tyres ... In a strictly winter is very average, in my opinion, its drawback is that it takes a bad snow when starting - maybe a matter of rear-wheel drive. Decently in the wet. Does a good job as a tyre all year round - I know because I had them on the rear axle in the summer - to my surprise, a typical summer tyres (Barum Bravuris - the front axle) explicitly resolved only in the summer of wet asphalt. gradually bought the 2 pieces for 2 winter tyres with the car I bought some tyfoon but firm in August did. Now I feel the differences in touch tread year 2006 - front - soft and year 2001 - back. I agree that with a very aggressive drive on the bend in the bends but does not throw the car to turn. I chose a higher profile than the recommended 70 instead of the 65th most pleased me that I hardly even clash riding from November 1 to May 1, and that the eggs do not get as Debica and frigo furio vivo. In a typical winter, snow was ok, and probably I would be very happy with them, if not for the fact that last winter was rather wet than snow. They liked to lose the tight grip in the wet, especially if you wanted to move quickly. The inhibition also was different - easy to lose traction especially after driving a long stretch (and it mostly was used). In summary, a good alternative to buy used if the limited financial resources available, in any other case, better to invest in something better. Read more Collapse

The perfect tyre for the money. It is not sport tyre. But for normal driving is more than enough. I bought it for my wife's car and is very happy. So do I. It may also be the 406th buy a Peugeot Very quiet, good on ice, snow and wet, but a little unstable in dry conditions. Does well in the snow with the acceleration of the relatively high torque diesel engines. Cheap tyres in the group (ie the one where the buyer is considering whether or not to buy winter tyres) definitely recommendable. Read more Collapse

I bought before the winter season of 2002, I made a mistake that I bought the same size in which I have summer, we had to buy a narrower ok in dry conditions, wet or on snow worse, problems with starting, ride fine on dry asphalt are quieter than its predecessor, the look and so does not count the properties of matter and how tyres writes in combat, on the plus may include the price for the second time on 99% do not buy, you better make and buy some better tyres Barum Polaris second example Read more Collapse

I work in a factory vulcanization in a small town and sell these tyres mainly because they are the cheapest. Unfortunately, we also have a lot of complaints. Approx. 50% of customers arrives with pretensions. Repeated weighing in does not do anything - usually replace the other. About 30% is advertised - Cormorant complaint most often not considered: (. Generally not recommended, even as you have little money. Better be on good summer, and the next year to buy something from the mid-range. Read more Collapse

Tyres definitely not recommend. Advantages - when they were new you could somehow ride, the first season and that's it. Cons: Tyres are now 6-Jan season tread is stripped but only in the middle and cut the tread has disappeared. With little snowfall ABS often works, very often. Driving to the mountains to ski well is a nightmare that I live in Katowice. People at this price you can buy really something that the rest of your days will resemble a winter tyre, not off-road. Fatal and dangerous to the tyres! Loud-explanatory and sounds seem like they nienapompowane or wheel niewywazone.Przy 5 'C and about 140km / h tyres rivers flowing once again fall into the vibrations. Przy160km / h in dry conditions with little to no flew straight wide road, so cast car. In the middle of winter running below average, slide in the snow and on the water even slightly zurzytym tread. Good tyre in its price class, a little ride on GOOD YEAR-s in the car of the same brand, and I think that this is not a revelation compared to Snowpro-yes they are a little better but twice as expensive. For kormoranach I was last year at PS jumping in Zakopane (-15 at night and snow) and were doing very well on the ice and it will not help even caterpillars. Not all drive Mercedes and the tyres after 600 zł per unit. I would recommend for people with moderate portfolio! Read more Collapse

recommendable tyres - "other people's praise of his do not know" on the tyres and you can freely ride on loose snow as well as slush, you move easily on packed snow and ice, a little worse and lateral inhibition of keeping hockey because four, but if someone wants to go crazy on the ice to let the will supply tyres with spikes!, winter conditions do not forgive recklessness and lack of imagination, once again: recommendable tyres I never failed.
