Maxxis Bravo A/T 771

The Maxxis Bravo Series A/T 771 is an economical tyre, which will satisfy both fans of racing and drivers who use their off-road vehicle on roads. What is more, this is an all-season model, which means that it can be safely used in four-wheel-drive cars in every season and in any weather.

The model bearing the AT marking does very well in light off-road conditions, especially on sand, and ensures comfortable driving in the city for an off-road car. Even more importantly, it combines the features of winter and summer tyres, which makes it safe to use regardless of terrain and weather.

The main task of the four circumferential grooves is to expel substances that decrease grip from beneath the wheels: water and waste. This includes both mud – during races – as well as snow covering city roads. Thanks to the wide blocks and sipes – characteristic of winter tyres – the tyre latches onto terrain, improving the car's stability.

Grip is also improved by the reinforced, but elastic structure. The selected rubber compound increases the tyre's lifespan, ensuring that the tread wears at a balanced rate.

It is hard to deny the appealing look of the tyre. The aggressive tread – filled with acute angles – as well as the white inscriptions on the sides, make this tyre eye-catching and visually attractive.

    Opinion from outside the UK

I used to have Goodyear all weather tyres fitted to my cat as an original equipment and I used them quite a lot. I would say that this Maxxis model is better in almost every aspect: driving quality in terrain, traction during fast driving, grip in variety of conditions, noise level, driving comfort on general. I think it is safe to say that this model is a level above than most of tyres which are currently available. Recommended. Read more Collapse

the first impression with the visual white letter and tread was great. However it is more towards road driving than off road 60/40.Does not grip as well as the Pirelli scorpion ST but hold firms on the road. slightly above average for snow and mud. The wear of tyres is average.Tyres are used on the rear of a 4x4.There are better tyres out there for the price. Read more Collapse

Good 'all purpose' tyre. Keep in mind that handling on the wet and dry roads is little bit worst than it would be with summer or winter tyres. It works good on the non asphalt roads. Nice traction on snow and slush. Read more Collapse
