Michelin Agilis 3 is a new premium summer tyre for vans. The highest quality, excellent performance and trouble-free operation – that is what the successor of the Agilis 2 tyre features. This new item in the Michelin range will ensure a high level of safety on wet roads.
On average, Michelin Agilis 3 tyres are one kilogram lighter compared to their equivalent, and for some sizes this difference is up to 1.7 kg. On average, the new lightweight Agilis 3 tyre for vans reduces CO2 emissions by approx. 100 kg over a distance of 20,000 km.
The new tread design has deep grooves. Flexible blocks have been used for easier driving on wet roads. U-shaped grooves have a large tread score, which ensures effective water drainage throughout the life of the tyre.
The tyre has class A in terms of braking performance in wet conditions. This was achievable through applying the EverGrip technology. An innovative rubber compound with an optimised dose of soot and silica contributes to greater road safety and braking performance on wet surfaces throughout its service life.
Michelin Agilis 3 ensures long life and durability thanks to the technology developed for truck tyres that Michelin first used in vans. Patented technology that fights pebbles wedged in the tread. Finally, for even greater safety, Michelin used the same sidewall protection solution that was first used in Agilis CrossClimate, namely an additional layer that protects the tyre against scrubbing on the road surface.
The new Agilis 3 is yet another proof of Michelin’s sustainable development strategy for safer, greener, more accessible and more efficient mobility.
