I've driven on snow and ice for decades in many countries around the world. This is my second set of Nokian A4's on this car, one of a few cars I own. These are the best winter and all-round tyres I have used, they stay on the car all year. Grippy, quite, durable and wet performance summer or winter is great. The last set giving over 38,000 miles with some very spirited driving at times. Fortunately I'm a professional driver, I have the opportunity and environment to test correctly. I spent the winter 2018/19 ski season in the French Alps, the tyres handled very well throughout the season in all winter conditions with very little wear. I discovered the tyres handled best inflated to around 38psi, inflation over this resulted in loss of grip in wet and snow. I cannot comment on fuel economy as I was driving in the mountains. When cleaning the car the tyres always returned to their original colour. On long drives and high speed journeys the tyres seemed quiet. Read more Collapse

This winter season i have driven with Nokians fitted onto my new car. I was a little afraid, because the back tyre should different size, and I had the same, but it was ok. The tyre is very cool, I have several cars and Nokiany are in them. Defect - noise above 120 km / h (of course, winter tyres). I drive a lot and my driving style very offten is quite aggresive. I do not like to stand in traffic jams. The WR A4 tyres allowed me to aggressively start as well as safely stop the Mustang weighing more than 1500 kg. The tyres behaved correctly in both frost and slush. Average volume. Hi, The Nokian tyres I use long time. This sets is not a first. Nokian never did disapointed me. Weather in England this year has snowing , rained and frozen roads. I did almost 6 thousands miles. I've tested these tires typically on wet, very wet and dry. These tyres has showen something I did not expect. They are excellent! I'm absolutely not afraid of wet surfaces now or any corner. High performance tyres in any situation, almost like the summer pilot sport 4. I have not had the chance to test them on snow and ice. Only fault they are quite noisy especially when it is very cold. I would say that if you are on offer it is worth repurchasing. Read more Collapse

These Nokians have replaced a similar Dutch make but do seem more assured in normal conditions and invincible in the snow although I do have 4 wheel drive. Cannot comment yet on whether they will wear well when it warms up! Read more Collapse

Along with the tires, pressure sensors have been purchased. They were wrongly matched by oponeo and I was forced to buy the right sensors in the Toyota service.
