Tyre details:
Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme S is a high-end tyre designed for the extreme and variable weather conditions that can be faced in Europe during winter. The model uses the Internal Sipe Locking technology which gives the tyre with maximum performance and keeps it stable at high speeds.
The directional tread equipped with many sipes ensures a smooth and effective drainage of water and snow from under the tyre. Their tyres have two sipe types. The central tyre side is equipped with straight notches ensuring optimum traction and a short braking distance and the zig-zag sipes located at the edges are responsible for the wet grip. Besides this, the tread of Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme S uses two additional longitudinal grooves. Together with the V-grooves, typical for this type of tread, they ensure that the tyre does not lose stability or grip, even on very slippery and wet surfaces. The tyre tread is made of a high-tech polymer compound that in combination with a new-generation silicone hydride guarantees that Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme S is more durable and ensures full performance during the entire useful life. The light structure reduces the rolling resistance, which leads to a lower fuel consumption and limited CO2footprint. Vredestein Wintrac Xtreme S is the perfect solution for all the drivers who expect their every-day winter tyres to be cost-efficient and to provide driving safety and comfort.
