I think Barum Polaris 3 are a bit too hard as for winter tyres. I have Debica tyres on my second car and they behave much better. I regret I didn't buy something else.

It's the second season I'm using Barum Polaris 3. I already did a few thousand miles and the tread is almost like brand new, but the tyres lost their grip when starting and going up some hills. I also have problems when starting from the spot, sometimes even in the city. It seems to behave quite well in the corners, I don't drive too fast because if I can't start properly then it's no use to go faster.

I had to exchange one tyre from my set 3 times as a "balloon" formed on it. I almost got killed by it on the motorway. They're horrible. Barum Polaris 3 can do well for half a year, and then somthing strange happend to them, like they lose pressure.

As for me, the tyres are "baloons" - they have a very strange profile. You can inflate them up to 3 bars and they stil are "baloon"-like. As for me, they are terrible (one season, 16 thousand miles, Diesel-powered 4-year-old car). They have poor grip in ruts. In my opinion, Barum Polaris 3 are dangerous tyres.
