During what was a pretty bad winter I happily drove in the Peak District between Derbyshire and Sheffield on a daily basis on untreated roads. Tyres don't let you down and on occasion the only other cars I encountered were 4x4s so extreme were the weather conditions.

Ordered these winter tyres a couple of days before Xmas, delivered a couple of days afterwards. Amazing good service. Great price. I have been using them in Scandinavia during really heavy snowfall. Traditionally studded tyres are used in winter so was interesting to try winter tyres without studs. Very impressive on snow. Struggled on ice. For UK conditions these are a great winter tyre. Can tackle snow no problem. Never have to drive on solid ice in the UK, should be fine with icy conditions with sensible driving.
