Before the purchase I thought about what to buy for some time. I somehow decided to get Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow because they were the cheapest premium class tyres and they turned out to be a bullseye. The tyres are quiet on dry and wet pavement, but they're the best for snow and slush. Car handling is very confident and the tyre grips the road like a tank. It's also a big credit of 4WD. Of course it's commonly known that the tyre won't replace common sense on the road, bur for me and my driving style these tyres are sensational. I am very satisfied and recommend them.

I've now had 5 winter seasons (over 2 cars) on these tyres and the performance has been excellent. General winter driving has been safe and confident, good water dispersion and the car always feels planted to the road. In 'proper' snow conditions, these provide good grip and plenty of re-assurance. With the AWD system they will eventually break traction in the snow - but only under very hard acceleration. At sensible winter driving speeds these tyres keep the car firmly planted to the road.

Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow is a very good tyre, the tread doesn't wear too fast, I can count it into those quieter tyres. I think it's worth recommending for such money.

Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snow behave sensationally on snow-covered roads, in "light" terrain and on the pavement. In short, they are fully universal. They behave without any problems in all conditions. I recommend them to all undecided drivers.
