    Opinion from outside the UK

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres are doing very well in rear-wheel drive cars on all types of surface, apart from the ice. If we take into consideration snow and slush weather conditions, they are the best tyres I have ever had mounted on my car. I did not expect them to be so good. There are absolutely no problems with braking in emergency situations. Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres provide an astonishing grip even if you accelerate on a wet road. The braking distance on ice is relatively good (especially when compared to winter tyres of different manufacturers). Probably they are not as good as studded tyres on icy surface but they are not designed for such a purpose. I must admit that they provide an excellent grip on a dry road. I have an impression that if you drive aggressively in higher temperatures, the tyres wear out a bit faster but it is rather a normal thing. If you need to feel a superb grip and you drive really fast, then you have to accept the fact that they may wear out quicker. The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres are equipped with a rim protection bar on their sidewall. It prevents from a kerb damage and small stones on the road. It is good to have some kind of an extra wheel protection. The sidewall of the tyre is rather not soft (at least in case of my size). The rubber compound is not hard. It is just right. The driving is very comfortable on these tyres. Rolling resistance is quite good. The tyres are really quiet. I am very pleased with my choice. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I am not afraid of winter conditions at all as I am a Subaru owner. It does not matter whether I have winter or summer tyres fitted to my car. My Subaru was originally equipped with Yokohama Geolandar all-season tyres, which I had an opportunity to drive on in snow. I actually purchased the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 by accident because I intended to buy some middle-class tyres. The Blizzaks were on sale and their price was very similar to mid-range tyres of different manufacturers. The difference between driving on original Geolandars and newly purchased Blizzaks in the snow is tremendous. With the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres my Subaru behaves like a tank in hard winter conditions. It goes uphill easily even if there is a really snowy hill or driveway and it does it without ESP support. What is more, the Blizzaks effectively do not allow me to drift in snow (even if ESP is off). The car maintains traction instead of skidding. I was positively surprised by braking in snow – ABS was activating only when I pressed a brake sharply. Of course, every rose has its thorns. I noticed an increased fuel consumption – about 2l/60mi when compared to original Geolandars. However, I must admit that they are quiet even at higher speeds (the tyre width is 225). In conclusion, the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres are great especially in difficult winter conditions. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have been using the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres for about 2 seasons. They were mounted on a heavy vehicle, which is the Rover 75. I had several types of winter tyres in the past. These were the following: Firestone, Fulda, Debica. When compared to all of the above-mentioned products, the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 behave in an extremely predictable way. They are fantastic in snow and they make driving more enjoyable. They are doing very well in slush, rain and icy weather conditions. In contrast to my previous Firestones, the grip is a way better. The car is not skidding in slush and I feel really safe on the road. A high sipe density pattern improves snow and ice traction by increasing the number of biting edges. What is more, the tyres look good as for winter tyres. The only drawback is a bit annoying noise while driving but all winter tyres are rather louder than summer ones. It is not possible to find quiet winter tyres :-). I do recommend the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 to every driver, especially to those, who would like to drive fast and safe in winter. I have done around five thousand miles on the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 and I would like to share my opinion with you. Despite the fact that their profile is rather low, I really enjoyed driving my car during the winter season. I am particularly delighted with their efficiency in a deep snow. Their efficiency may be connected with the fact that my car is four-wheel drive. The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 tyres are softer than my previous tyres. They have a more aggressive tread pattern. Although I did not have an opportunity to test these tyres in heavy winter conditions, I can say that they are excellent at countering aquaplaning. They provide good comfort, very good grip on dry surfaces. Great handling even at higher speeds. I would give them at least four stars for reliability and durability. They should preserve their features for several winter seasons. I do recommend the Bridgestone Blizzak LM-32 to everyone! Read more Collapse

Bridgestone blizzak lm32 tyres perform very well on rear-wheel drive cars, especially on ice. On snow, slush or wet roads these were, so far, the best tyres. You have no problem with emergency braking or when you have to accelerate. The braking distance it is relatively good on Icy surfaces- compared to other winter tyres. On dry surfaces, grip is sensational, but only at low temperatures. With dynamic driving at temperatures of +5c and above, Bridgestone blizzak lm32 tires wear out faster than the other tyres I had on my car. However you have to decide what is more important for you - adhesion or no wear. Another good side of those tyres is the fact they have a rim protection. The side of the tire is hard (at least in my size), the corners aren’t raised, and aren’t too hard. Rolling resistance quite high, as in any decent winter tyres, but they are very quiet. I am very pleased with my choice. Read more Collapse

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM32 is a winter tyre that delivers outstanding performance in a wide variety of conditions. It was designed with the specific aim of achieving the best possible stability on slippery surfaces. This is achieved by an aggressive directional tread featuring a large number of sipes that bite into snow, and grooves that efficiently evacuate water. The compound used to manufacture the tyres improves grip at low temperatures and allows rapid manoeuvrability in hazardous situations.

Bridgestone is one of the world's largest tyre manufacturers. The Japanese group also owns the well-known and highly popular brands Dayton and Firestone. The Bridgestone range includes tyres for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, 4x4 vehicles, motorbikes, racing vehicles, lorries and agricultural vehicles.
