    Opinion from outside the UK

I've been buying Bridgestone tyres for a dozen years now and with each newer model the fun of driving gets better and better. I bought the latest generation of tyres this year and have so far driven over 10000 km on them. I am very impressed with the excellent grip on both dry and wet surfaces. The tyres are quiet and do not vibrate at high speeds. Dynamic cornering and braking in the wet are not a problem and do not cause a feeling of danger or uncertainty behind the wheel. Previously, I drove the Turanza T005 and I must say that the difference is huge in every parameter compared. In summary, if you drive a lot and want safety and an irresistible feeling of comfort, there is no need to save money by choosing a tyre from another product class or company - the Bridgestone Turanza 6 is the only right choice :-) Read more Collapse

After about 7k km so far the driving experience is very good. Previously, I drove the Turanza T001 and think they were a bit softer, but I don't remember if they had a protective rim. It is possible that these are harder because of this. The tyre is new so so far everything is good, I haven't had any slippage on the highway exits so they stick well. At firs,t the difference I noticed from the previous tyres was the low rolling resistance. You could feel that the car was propelling itself even on a slight decline without the help of the engine, and the tyres didn't get in the way. A nice feeling. When I bought them, there were few reviews of this tyre, but I took a chance and so far I am satisfied. Recommended. Read more Collapse

Very good. This is the third set I have owned. Upon receiving of the shipment, I was positively surprised by the weight and the softness of the rubber. Subjectively speaking, it's a huge difference from the Turanza 5, which I bought (unfortunately) a few months earlier. No surprises in their usage - nothing to complain about. The previous bridgestones did a lot of km - I replaced them due to age rather than wear and tear, as long as the durability on those is the same, I see no drawbacks. Plus they look good and have a large protective rim. I also considered Uniroyal, but chose (due to better durability) brdgestones Read more Collapse

I have recently become the owner of a Seat Leon III estate car on which I will be doing around 20-25,000 km a year, and as such I needed tyres that would give me confidence behind the wheel. After driving about 5,000 km, I can say that this tyre is of really high quality. Yes, it can be forced to skid on wet roads, but you really have to put in an effort. The braking distance is short, and on bends, going downhill, you can push the accelerator and not be afraid of slipping. The tyres are very quiet. Overall, if I were to buy them again, I would definitely take them. Read more Collapse

If you are looking for good tyres, this is a good choice. After 10,000 kilometres I can feel a significant difference between this model and models from other top companies. While the difference on dry roads is not noticeable, on wet roads it is massive. Braking distances, aquaplaning, crossing railroad tracks or dynamic start on the traffic lights are all areas where there is a noticeable positive difference. In addition, you will forget about tyre noise. If you want safety and comfort, these are the tyres for you. Read more Collapse

The Bridgestone Turanza 6 is a premium summer tyre suitable for installation on passenger cars as well as SUVs. It will also work well on electric vehicles. Do you drive dynamically and need tyres that can control the high power of your car, giving you a feeling of safety and driving comfort? The Japanese company's model will perform well, even in difficult rainy conditions.

Turanza 6 benefits from the innovative Enliten technology, which allows the tyre to simultaneously reduce rolling resistance and reduce its weight by up to 20%. This reduces fuel burn and increases the range and lifespan of the tyres. However, there is no negative impact on traction, which remains at a very high level.

For users of alternatively fuelled cars the combustion engine, a key factor is the noise level. The new model is 2 dB quieter than its predecessor.

The Bridgestone Turanza 6 is among the top tyres in the category of performance on water-covered surfaces. The TÜV SÜD certification centre rated the model's performance in rainy conditions very highly. The tyre achieves some of the best wet grip performance in its class.

The use of unique Virtual Tyre Development technology has resulted in significant environmental benefits. 21% of raw materials were economised and CO2 emissions were significantly reduced during the prototyping and road testing phases of the model.
