    Opinion from outside the UK

I had Goodyear Eagle F1 run flat tyres fitted on my car when I bought it new. They were very disappointing, two tyres failed and the support from the manufacturer was poor. After a lot of looking around I decided to buy Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 P. They are excellent in the wet. In fact, at driver training, when I was on the wet skid pan, the trainer said I had to drive 15km/h faster than every other person there (at least 10 other cars) in order for the car to loose traction. They have perfect steering precision and sporty handling and short braking distances on both wet and dry roads.I would recommend Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 P very highly particularly for country roads. First thing I noticed on purchase vs the Good Year was dramatically less road noise, more comfort, not as hard over bumps, on starting off the tyre would grip the road (dry or wet) and would not spin (even on dry roads the Good Year would lose traction on starting off), and better stopping. They feel much better around corners and the wet than the Good Year tyres. I have done the same number of kms in comparison to when the Goodyear failed (two tyres developed side wall fractures and a bubble formed) and there is plenty of tread and km's left. Still 20,000 later, they are less noisy, more comfortable, better grip than the previouse tyres I had fitted. Not to mention much cheaper. Some say the better grip in the wet means less wear so far I have not seen this at at 20,000km, there will definitely be OK to 30,000 and I would say at least. They have perfect steering precision and sporty handling and short braking distances on both wet and dry roads.I would recommend this tyre very highly particularly for country roads. Opinion from outside the UK

I drive very aggressively and often at the limit of adherence, but Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 P yet never once did not surprise me with their behavior. Very quickly overcome turns, regardless of the speed and weather conditions show very good properties of these tyres. It not without significance is also low tread wear. I drove on these tyres since March of this year about 20 thousand km and I am really surprised with tyres condition. I found them to be an excellent tyre in the wet. Dry grip is phenomenal. It is nice and quiet as well. The solid, sturdy central ribs, attached tread lugs, plus asymmetrical tread ribs ensure optimum, longitudinal stiffness in the tyre and reduced movement in the tread. It was very well priced as well. I feel really safe in my car now. I highly recommend tyre Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 P. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Not a bad dry weather tyre at all. The problem for me with this tyre is that it is really poor in wet or cold and damp conditions. Have these on my wife's new SLK 200 AMG which is a 1.8T with 184BHP. Nothing outrageous in the least. They have outstanding grip and stability during cornering .To the point where I don't really want my wife driving the car in wet conditions. I have Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 Pand they are seriously fantastic in the dry and very good in the wet. Read more Collapse

Can't recommend this tyre enough, it out performed my expectation during its November to April fitment each year. Astonishing engineering to make this tyre perform so well. Note of caution, when you first get the tyre, ensure you wear the release agent layer off, by aggressively braking from speed, otherwise the characteristics of the tyre appear poor. I think Continental ContiSportContact™ 5 P is the best choice. Read more Collapse

The Continental ContiSportContact 5P guarantees extensive benefits in terms of acceleration, braking and drivability. The large tread area ensures maximum force transmission. The two durable central ribs of the asymmetric tread ensure optimal grip in any conditions.

The block structure on the outer shoulder of the tyre ensures good side force transmission. This has a direct impact on drivability since steering movements are transmitted quickly and effectively.

The Continental ContiSportContact 5P is the perfect choice for cars such as the Audi TT RS or the Mercedes AMG C 63, meeting the requirements of drivers who like a fast and dynamic driving experience.
