Continental EcoContact 6 is a premium summer tyre created for drivers who put environmental concerns and driving economy first.
EcoContact 6 fits a wide range of passenger vehicles. Due to its characteristics, it is particularly suitable for heavily-used and long-distance vehicles.
The excellence of the German manufacturer’s proposal manifests itself in three main aspects: fuel efficiency, durability and traction control.
Increased mileage
Advanced technology significantly extends the life cycle of tyres. The state-of-the-art Green Chili 2.0 rubber compound adapts superbly to the road, thus reducing tread wear. As a result, the tyre can be used over a much longer distance.
Asymmetrical tread
The improved tread compared to previous models ensures precision and safe driving in all conditions. Interestingly, the German manufacturer’s designers chose to tailor the tread pattern to the specific size – it can have three, four or five ribs.
The pattern, synchronised to the tyre width, guarantees excellent efficiency in evacuating water from under the wheel and reduces the risk of aquaplaning, while the grooves arranged on the sides of the tyres contribute to good grip on wet surfaces.
Fuel efficiency
The combination of the use of state-of-the-art materials and optimised design in a single model has resulted in extremely low rolling resistance and fuel consumption*.
*Rolling resistance 15% lower than ContiEcoContact 5.

Continental is the flagship brand of the German corporation of the same name. The company ranks among the leading major tyre manufacturers. It has dozens of factories and extensive research centres developing technologies that could define the future look of the tyre manufacturing industry. In addition to its own brand, Continental produces Uniroyal, Semperit and Barum tyres.
