I have 19 inch wheels with a 30 or 35 aspect ratio; obviously there isn't much space for flex in the tyre wall but fitting these tyres has transformed the ride and handling of my car. I'm now have more confidence when pushing the car because of the feedback that the tyres provide, a league above the run flats that I had before. The grip is excellent with a progressive breakaway at the rear when driving spiritedly. This is the fourth set of Continentals that I've fitted to my car and since doing so I haven't felt the need to look at anything else. My car is quieter, more comfortable and faster around corners as a direct result of replacing my Bridgestone run flats with the ContiSports. Read more Collapse

I use these tyre because they were recommended by Schnitzer, the producer of the 22 in wheels that I run on this car. These particular tyres (295) are for the fronts and I am using the 335 version on the rears. I have never had a problem and have always found their grip to be excellent in all conditions . I have no hesitation in recommending them. Read more Collapse

Excellent dry/wet performance in terms of traction, braking and steering. Low aspect ratio means they don't absorb bumps well but this is to be expected, they are not comfort tyres. The only negative of the tyres is they wear very quickly. I got less than 9K miles on my Honda Civic Type R. Read more Collapse

Fabulous grip in the wet and dry, have tried to lose the car on bends but they wont have it.Sidewall is just right...not too stiff ie bridgestones, and not too soft like goodyears and michelins. Feel very safe with these on.Thought the 5p was good but these are so much grippier. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

A revelation on the route! There is no difference if you drive at 100km / or 200km / - the tyres behave identically :) on wet roads 160km / h and continue to ride confidently. Emergency braking on dry roads also without reservations. I really recommend these tyres! Read more Collapse

If you’re looking for summer tyres for a sport car, Continental SportContact 6 is the perfect solution. The tyre is equipped with an asymmetric tread which, due to its two independent sections, performs well in variable weather conditions.

The tread’s external section is responsible for its performance on dry surfaces and for stability on corners. The internal section takes care of fast and efficient water drainage and the general behaviour of the tyre on wet surfaces.

The central rib provides stability and the solid blocks ensure grip regardless of the surface type. With the uniform distribution of pressures acting against the tyre surface, the tread wears slowly and evenly. As a result, you may enjoy the tyre's full performance throughout its life, without worrying about a deterioration in safety or driving comfort.

Continental SportContact 6 is based on a rubber compound featuring flexibility in a wide range of temperatures. Thanks to this property, the tyre always adheres to the road across its maximum area, which guarantees a better grip and stability. The compound is lighter than standard compounds which has translates into reduced weight. Consequently, rolling resistance and fuel consumption are lower. All this makes Continental SportContact 6 not only economical in use, but also ecological.
