Debica Frigo 2 is a winter tyre designed for the passenger cars. Directional V-shaped tread applied in the tyre reminds of a herringbone. Such a carving ensures perfect water and slush evacuation from under the tyre, and, in result, safety on the wet.

Tyre’s tests:

  • 2011: "Motor" test in the size of 195/65 R15 – best on snow
  • 2010: "Motor" test in the size of 195/65 R15 – best performance on snow
  • 2009: Autocentre.ua test in the size of 175/65 R14 – good on the wet surface and resistant to hydroplaning

Debica Frigo 2 has been produced from the rubber compound which ensures very good flexibility by the low temperatures present in winter. Modern sipes system enhances grip in harsh winter conditions (lower skid risk by moving out, braking and sudden manoeuvres). Frigo 2 is also characterized by increased quantity of peripheral and crosswise grooves, owing to which the water and slush are effectively drained off from under the tyre. Tread grooves minimise also hydroplaning risk. The tread of Debica Frigo 2 corresponds with Goodyear UltraGrip 5 tyre that was tested by hundreds of thousands of drivers and awarded in many tests all over the world.

Debica is a polish tyres’ manufacturer which belongs to Goodyear concern since the 1995 year. The company is one of the biggest polish exporters. All of the labels’ products are consistent with all of the world’s standards and requirements.

Debica Frigo 2 is a winter tyre designed for the passenger cars. It is an economic class’ tyre which guarantees perfect performance and is available in the low price.

    Opinion from outside the UK

Debica Frigo 2 are very good tyres in decent price. I have read the reviews that they wear fast - but as long as one drives them in summer. After 2 seasons and driving almost 25000 miles I have checked the tread' height and it is at the level of 6-7 mm, whereas the new ones have almost 9mm. Additionally, the softness of fuses as in the day of purchase. The car with back driving gear had no problems with driving and moving out uphill and the driving on snow and slush - splendid, safely and without problems. I rate that one can drive them up to 80000 miles with the possible change front-back. Debica Frigo 2 should suffice for some 5 seasons. In addition, I have bought them on the internet and at the point of receiving they had 3 weeks from the production date. Read more Collapse

Debica Frigo 2 is especially worth recommending in typically winter conditions (snow, ice, mud), it performs splendid on dry surface, slightly worse on the wet one. I was surprised by the low noise level and perfect rolling restraints ( based on the press' tests). Attrition is also at the good level (as far as one does not drive on them in summer). I drove on tyres of more expensive labels (Michelin, Continental, etc.) and in everyday use it's really hard to notice any meaningful difference, Debica Frigo 2 is more quiet than Michelin, much better than both on snow, mud and ice, worse than both on wet surface. As always, everything has its' prons and cons, however, it is not worth to overpay. I recommend this tyre to everyone! :) Read more Collapse

Great tyres for the heavy road conditions. Deep snow on the sideways or land roads does not pose any problem for Debica Frigo 2. They are perfect also for the slush. Correct traction. However, they displayed their potential when I had to remove the wood on the trailer from the forest. The bigger and stronger by 40 HP Zafira on Firestone tyres digged in there without load and Escort on Frigo 2 pulled out on the trailer almost a tone of the load from the forest. This shows everything. I drove on them since the end of November up to this day almost 6000 miles and the signs of wear cannot be seen. Splendid tyres if you have an older car and you live in the place where roads in winter are not always kept in good codition. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I've been using many winter tyres already, starting from the budget class, for exapmle Barum, ending on higher class e.g. Dunlop. Now I have Debica Frigo 2 for the financial reasons. I expected the tyre will be average at most. First heavy snow was enough for me to be positively surprised. The car runs like a tank on these tyres. Unless it not hangs on the chassis - there is no chance it won't move off from any snowdrift. After the snow - traction is superb. I did not experience this on several times more expensive Dunlop or Pirelli. For my next car I bought the full set of Debica Frigo 2, although the car is medium class and I can afford more expensive tyres - I do not want another ones. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I once drove Frigo 1 and I have to admit that there is a huge gap between Frigo 1 and Debica Frigo 2. Although Frigo 1 was quite loud, it performed mediocre on the wet and the snowy road, I have to praise Debica Frigo 2 - it is relatively quiet on the asphalt and performs good in winter conditions. By skillful driving through snowy roads I did not have any problems with it. It is a common knowledge that the simple tyre will not help on ice. Debica Frigo 2 is a tyre worth recommending mainly for its' good price adequate to the quality it represents. I can add that in this season I also bought the new set of these tyres for my new car which is my second set in the driver's career. Read more Collapse

Debica Frigo 2 are very mediocre tyres. Comparable with the previous Fulda Krystall 4 - no longer produced (with the poinitng to Fulda as slightly better), entirely comparable with Frigo 1 which, besides being a bit louder than the Frigo 2, were slightly better in all conditions - especially snowy. I expected a bit more from Frigo 2 as the copy of Goodyear UG5 and I was disappointed. It does not mean that the tyre is bad. In its' price class It's one of the best in my opninion. Nevertheless, I recall the times when I drove the previous car on Dunlop SP WINTER SPORT M3. This was splendid tyre for all winter conditions. However, it's the price class higher than Debica Frigo 2. Read more Collapse

Very good winter tyre. It does well on ice, perfectly both on the snow and in mud. Attrition is rather low. I can confirm that as I drove on Debica Frigo 2 two years non-stop without changing them for the summer ones. The tread wear amounts to 3-4 mm which is a good result. The mixture from which it is produced still preserves its' properties even in the severe frosts and it is soft. I once read that Debica Frigo 2 is hard to balance. My copies roll perfectly and there were no problems. It's hard to write about disadvantages. Maybe that it's hard to hear it. Perhaps that in summer it is a bit slippery - but it is a winter tyre and for the winter season it is perfect. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

Hello, I've checked Debica Frigo 2 in all conditions and I can say that it's a good tyre for such a price. The pulling strength on snow is great, certainly not like in the old Frigo but sufficient. The disposal of water is better which improves the driving properties on the wet surface. On the dry one it also performs well but unfortunately to 100-120 km/h, above this speed it starts to be not so well, because the tyre becomes soft and performs as if it did not keep the direction. By 160 km/h it was really bad so I did not try driving faster. Summing up, it is the greatest disadvantage of Debica Frigo 2 and the tyre's greatest advantage is the low noise level. I bought Debica Frigo 2 two weeks ago, immediately at the beginning of heavy snowing. In the snowdrifts and slush it performs splendid. On the dry asphalt by 160 km/h it is entirely predictable, no tremblings and other surprises. I think the relation of quality to the price is exceptional. For the rolling restraints I give 4 as I am not able of rating it. I will assess the attrition after the season so I give the neutral 4. What is more, before I drove the smaller car on the tyres Debica Frigo s-30. They performed superb on snow but they were uncomfortable in the city. Here the clear difference for the positive. I recommend Debica Frigo 2! Read more Collapse

I bought Debica Frigo 2 in fall the previous year and since then I drove a few miles. They perform splendid on the wet road and on the dry one I also do not have any obligations with the exception of a slightly louder work. What is interesting, on the routes familiar to me, that I drive on everyday, changes of loudness depending on the kind of surface are much more felt (changes in the level of loudness are greater) than using the summer tyres. Well, the height of tread blocks and the width of the tread grooves have to give something. On the snow the tyres never disappointed me. Previous Kormorany Snowpro were terrible in this respect. After the whole winter season I claim that the Debica Frigo 2 tyres are superb. I bought them after reading the reviews on this website and I am not dissapointed. For this money the tyre is the first class. Splendid holding both on the wet and on the dry surface. On the snow the slippery surface is totally imperceptible. Of course, on the ice one has to pay attention but such is the specificity of ice. I strongly recommend Debica Frigo 2 as it is certainly worth to do so. Taking into consideration the wear they will keep their properties for 2 or even 3 winters. For the second car for the next winter season I will also buy them. Read more Collapse

After driving 4000 miles I am positively surprised by these tyres (as well as by the previous Debica Frigo), they behave quite correctly on all sorts of surface. I bought them on the Internet, I came across this website, I read your reviews and I had doubts as to what to choose. After many considerations I decided to buy Debica Frigo 2 once again and I am 100% satisfied. The tyres have amazing thrust, they work out splendid in every situation, slush does not pose any problem, they run as the driver wishes on taking the bend with the speed adjusted to current conditions. Summing up - I am very pleased. Read more Collapse

Very good tyres, driving comfort and loudness at the decent level, they keep the road well, tread wear about 1,8 mm, but the most important thing about Debica Frigo 2 is the tolerable price in comparison to the prices of other distributors. In addition, very positive remark regarding the pace of realizing an order. I am generally very satisfied with the decision of buying them and I hope that everybody who wants to drive safely will buy new tyres in such an attractive price than buying secondhands with minimal tread and hardened rubber not warranting safe driving in snowy roads and slush conditions. Debica Frigo 2 is a cheap and a good tyre. It performs splendid on snow and ice. The tyre's only disadvatage is its' blameworthy behaviour in plus temperatures on wet surface. The tyre can drift amazingly on starting the engine. If we have more power under the bonnet, moving out will not be nice on the wet surface. Besides, braking on wet road is a tragedy. The tyre drifts very easily and attention must be paid. Even so, I think that Debica Frigo 2 are perfect tyres. I have them in my second car already and I always recommend them everybody for winter. On the snow they have never disappointed me. Read more Collapse

Very good preservance of traction both on the wet and the snowy surface. The problem with skidding did not happen to me both during the driving and moving out on snow. It is known that no tyre will keep traction on ice. A slightly poor resistance to lateral deflection gives the impression of tilting the car by higher speeds. Good resistance to attrition. I drove only on these tyres 2 winter seasons with the distance of 21000 miles and I think I can safely use them for the next 2 seasons. The car I possess is Ford Escort 1,8 16V Zetec engine with the power of 115 HP. Read more Collapse

Debica Frigo 2 have already received the positive remark from me but it was just the beginning of the year and not much could be said how they will work when the winter strikes. Now, with clear conscience I can recommend them to all reasonable drivers, they perform great, they hold the surface as though they were sticked. If you drive with imagination you will not have any troubles with it. Do not listen to grumblers - these will always be found and nothing will ever suit them. The next purchase? Debica Frigo 2 performs well in all conditions! Before, I drove on the tyres of higher class, I decided to experiment and, taking into consideration the money saved, I am really pleased! The tyres do not differ much in driving properties from the more expensive Bridgestone ones which I had previously; they are certainly better from them on the snow, the wet and dry surface similarly. I expected higher level of noise but, fortunately, my concerns were not confirmed. I recommend this tyre to people who want to invest well their money. Read more Collapse

Overall quite impressed, no real issues, hard to say how good they are as these are the only winter tyres that i've ever had, but whilst everyone else over the last couple of years couldnt't get out of their drive, i was about the only 2wd car able to negotiate these terrible conditions. I purchesed these tyres 5yrs ago & they only cost me £26 each, they are now about double the price, so i've decided to buy something much more modern goodyear ultragrip 8, looking forward to seeing how much better they are over the debicas. In winter conditions Debica Frigo 2 performs splendid. The more snow, the better and more safe the driver feels. The tyre designed specifically for driving on snow, especially in mountains where I use it. This is my third set of these tyres already and I am still not dissapointed. The only problem I had with the tyre was the balancing of all 4 tyres which were new. Vulcanizer said that rims are simple and the problem may be connected with the tyres. Besides, Debica Frigo 2 behaves perfectly on snow. Read more Collapse

I had no troubles, the tyre holds the road, the car runs safely and the passed drivers wonder how one can drive so fast on such a surface (snow, slush - they run safely on the summer ones). Why I have no idea whether I would buy them again? Because I hope Debica will produce something better at a lower price. Read more Collapse

I am very pleased with Debica Frigo 2 tyres. In this winter season I drove on Frigo 2 mounted in the front and Frigo in the back. I am really satisfied. By my family way of usage it is difficult to blame them. With the sense of responsibility I will say that they give satisfaction and some sense of safety. Opinion from outside the UK

I bought in August Tires, tires with the end of 2013. I put them in the middle of November. Balanced all around. The problem showed up at 1 driving, when cornering terribly on these tires began to swing the car. Compared with rigid summer was a massacre. I immediately got to the site as I assumed tires and told about the problem. They said the passes that this effect because they are new and August article. Already passed the 1.5 thousand miles and still runs them pretty. I listened opinion on this site, tempted me the price, opinions and that the Polish. But terribly sorry ... Already Goodyery to 2008 which had previously been better. Now is -2 stops outside the car goes like a weak inhibition on the asphalt, I feel like I had a summer not winter .. When May make a name for them to be good? After the winter? after 10 thousand miles or whatever ?? After the snow had not ridden not judge, just wet asphalt and terribly weak inhibition. At speeds of more than 100km impossible to drive along a straight path .. cornering only 50km max. Include me in August still control ESP with these tires when I drive really slowly. I do not like driving fast acute. No more these tires this company. I may add that the father of golf at the summer is the summer of the same effect, but also a little less swings. I was only in the world with shock absorbers convinced he had to be replaced. With me are ok checked for certainty. And I bought the spring. Read more Collapse

If someone praises and writes here that these tires are quiet at the outset that I do not believe him, and yet he writes that it is safe to let them pray more for happiness, but also on those unconscious God watches. If someone says that great inhibit these tires in the wet it's probably writing about other tires, certainly not because of Debica Frigo 2. I had them, I experienced, I have spent with joy replaced the other. Just the same label can be seen that this is one of the worst tires available and that is why they are so cheap, but still too expensive looking at properties. Simply select another tire no matter what it will be of any brand in every way better, despite the difference in price only parunastu respectively. If someone does not have money, it is difficult - buy it. But even if everyone will look at the labels and compare similar tires, due to safety even definitely choose something else even had a little to pay extra. It is known, the poor can not afford the cheap stuff, because then, and so they are forced to spend for the same purpose the next amount. It is better to ride the tires more expensive, but much longer and safer than the risk for such. These tires Frigo 2 should cost top 80 zł per unit that would suit their properties, but unfortunately for the price would be scared to buy it, because Chinese products are in such prices, and you know they are quality. Welcome all users. I was asked for an opinion so go ahead. Tires have already 2,5 season, virtually missing 2-3 weeks for hardworking three years, as evidenced by the evaluation I am more than delighted. I do quite a lot of kilometers on the short and long routes also in mountainous areas and the tire has had excellent results,. On dry and wet surfaces is very ok, but the snow and slush revelation. Very good grip and great control over the car and driving comfort, of course everything within reason (ie, the normal dynamic drive slowly without madness), because surely there is someone who finds that, with its 200 km tire and so loses traction, but omitting such individuals is an excellent tire for the "normal" drivers. After more than 15 thousand kilometers traveled very little tire wear, almost invisible. Tire fairly quiet and economical, in comparison with summer tires 225/45/17 consumption falls by more than litr/100km. Jjedynym small downside for me is a little felt the softness of the tire (maybe it's a relatively rigid tank summer). In addition, the small downside with hand on heart, I would recommend this tire - I have two sets in two cars, so he says it for itself. These are certainly very competitive tires for expensive foreign manufacturers. RECOMMEND and I hope that my review will help you make the right choice. Read more Collapse

The tire I bought a few nice days on browsing through various online forums. At first I thought about Nokianach but a friend told me that the vulcanizer they are good for snow but in our variable climate may be too soft. So I decided to Dębice and I'll tell you that .... I do not regret this choice. At first approached them with plenty in reserve but when it snowed nice surprised me. Passed its baptism of fire during a snowstorm on which to hit the road from Poznan to home. After driving from the black asphalt to snow immediately felt the car slide on the road like a tank. Zero-breaking traction and the ESP can not odzywało. When starting with a tight snowy parking lot as I did not have any problems. As for the noise level is surprisingly are much quieter than my summer Continental Group. But that was not so rosy and cons are. Well, as with any winter tyres sometimes you need to feel good brakes and tire to safely inhibit. I noticed that Debica great pulling the car but the braking is not as good. Not that I experienced a slight slip on the ice but slightly failed me (but I know the people dumb good tires). In a word, I recommend them wholeheartedly, especially for those who are not crazy about a snow-covered roads rather drive sensibly (this does not mean that the snail) :) Read more Collapse

tyres average estimate at 5! I did not expect such good handling characteristics at this price. Previously, I would go to Dunlopie M3 that was maybe a bit better in the dry at temperatures above 10 C. But in the end it winter tyres ... Debica the snow is the undisputed champion! If you live in a place with constant residual snow let it do not bother other tyres - because the snow better not :) The wet is not so great, but still very good, after testing in the press was expecting worse behavior meanwhile Debica works very similarly to the aforementioned Dunlop may hold in an arc worse but it's actually a subtle difference. For dry is OK. I think a longer braking distance, but perhaps this is because it seems almost Dunlopy were "bald" and harder and so I do not remember exactly how it was when it was new ... Noise is also a small but nevertheless Debica advantage - it's probably my biggest zaskocznie. The rolling resistance give 6 as in the tests in the press, I personally have not noticed much of combustion. Generally speaking, it is a tyre with one of the best relationships for money! Is definitely the next time I buy tyres of the brand. I recommend all of these tyre! Read more Collapse

According to me it is good enough tire. I do not know what you want to here more snow. winter tyre this winter tyre as my father says, and must be just mainly snow. Clincher This pulls from every oppression, pulls in snow and mud very well, you say - like a tank. For dry and wet I have not found any tragedy - normal good tire. Cool to ride. To sum up: the snow very well pulls, mud / ciapi too well. On the ice is not too good, because hockey does a good job but this what has thorns ... There is no need to overpay ... We go to these 3 individuals because friends had bought himself such to their cars and somehow we do not complain, we are happy. Confidently recommend to anyone normal driver (athletes let him seek miracles on a stick). Especially recommend someone picks in the top of the snow that different tires can be expensive for me and worse. The cool thing is being in the winter the snow actually feel that this is a departure from the comfort of many of oppression, to feel confident. Overall I am very happy with this tire and I would recommend it to anyone. A little noisy, but it is not something unpleasant just heard the ankle (you know - it's not summer). Next time you buy them too. Read more Collapse

I would recommend this tire. As a model quite cheap performs well. Feel that the tire is made of soft compound, making them the car behaves a little differently. But even fans of hard tires and suspension (like me) will appreciate it in the harsh winter. The softness of the rubber is definitely an advantage in kopnym snow or on icy roads. On dry tires do not make the problem are fairly quiet, braking and acceleration does not make much difference compared to other tires. He rides on them comfortably and securely. For madness is not suitable but not the point in the winter. Abrasion-do not judge them for a short ride. Vulcanizer not complain, do not make a problem when setting up on the rim. Of course, there are better tires but not for the price. That price is their biggest asset. For small money can buy good tires, so that we will be safe on the road. I encourage you to buy tires more frequently but cheaper. During the change from the old gums feel a huge difference, mainly this softness about which I wrote. When it comes to Oponeo do not have any objections. Free and fast delivery, competitive prices-great! Read more Collapse

Debica Frigo time I bought 2, but before I had them as a Good Year Ultra Grip fifth The next tyres were Firestone Winterhawk 2 - once I say - do not buy Firestonów. They are only good for keeping the side while starting and braking on snow is a total failure. Returning to Debica, well ... suitable tyre for me, because I live 10 km from the city and the road is sooooo often simply white, and the snow this tyre is just awesome. Bites very well. NEVER on them "buried" what can not be said for Firestonach. excellent stick to the sides and perfectly move / inhibit. I think the tyres in terms of price to quality is second to none. Posłodziłem Okay, but these tyres are also disadvantages: the biggest, is the behavior of the wet asphalt when the temperature fluctuates around 0-5'C. Simply slide and ABS very often reacts. The second drawback is the "swimming" tyres. Especially feel it when the temperature exceeds 5'C. Overall, I would recommend those tyres to overcome most of the route in the snow and slush, because in these conditions, these tyres performed best Read more Collapse

I'm not an avid fan of the automotive industry and just plain user, so my knowledge and experience with the tyres are small. But the utter ... :) A big plus tyre is primarily price. The behavior of the snow - a revelation. I live in the mountains, so no one had to pierce through snowdrifts and throughout the winter, in good conscience, I can say that not a single one is not "buried". Behavior on the ice, in my opinion about the slush ice + cornering happened to me that the back of the car a little run. I do not know if this is normal behavior for all tyres without studs, but it is not bothersome thing, because you only need to slow down and is ok :) For dry and wet roads very good behavior. The only thing that bothered me, it's a bang, but you get used to it. Not say whether the noise is good or not, because I just do not have any comparison. As for the person who is doing a small amount of kilometers per year, live in the mountains, often riding on snow - I recommend :) It makes no sense to pay 2x more for Michelin or other such. As for me Debica a full enough. Read more Collapse

I tested the tyres Debica Frigo 2 in most conditions and decided to express their opinions about them. Overall, I was skeptical of these suggestions set by friends. I am very surprised pozytwnie. For snow tyres behave great. Car runs confident braking distance is short. After załączenu ABSu vehicle still clearly slows down without feeling slightly longer braking distance perceived in certain circumstances. Despite the rear-wheel drive feel podczs acceleration control of the vehicle (in the snow). The next surprise is the low noise level. In dry conditions, without reservations, and wet with a positive temperature drew attention to poorer grip during fast acceleration and braking compared to summer tyres, but I think it's normal behavior (the difference is small) According to my evaluation and comparison of these tyres are not much parameters deviate from reputable companies. However, value for money is amazing. I put a good Polish product and I am very happy with the choice. With a clear conscience, recommend to all who sniff before making a decision. Read more Collapse

I got these tyres from the previous season, so the car now, because I bought Conti 830 (DISASTER for the winter, which I had no junk). Behavior Frigo 2 last season (about 25 Tkm) was sensational on the front, I was not even as good winter tyres (unless the same tread in UG5, years ago). So now the snow behaved flawlessly, although you need to take into account the possibility of a small "walk" back to the gaps, especially in the wet snow, rain or dry (greater speed on the hatch). But at this price, and at an angle of tyres for the winter, these are Excellent tyres, it will surely tyre next season 2012/2013. 830 Cotni with them as better or summer tyre for all seasons. Confident once rode a big Fiat on universal tyre from Olsztyn now than Conti 830, seriously. Uphill driveway, riding on the snow is a disaster, the lack of certainty at all times. That's why I recommend only Frigo 2, it's really a revelation for the winter, especially if someone has to ride on the snow. Strings may safely lie in the trunk with these tyres. Yours. The tyre works well in all conditions! My biggest surprise was quiet tyres! So generally the worst in the wet - 4 may szrpnąć crossings by large puddles. On the dry I have no objekcji - after reading some of the comments I checked the quick acceleration, braking and grip in fast curves - worsening traffic conditions is just above 10 degrees Celsius temperature - perhaps not surprising in view of a soft blend of winter tyres. Revelation in the snow! I have not had such good writing out of the tyre in the snow (and the earlier cars of this class I had Michelin Alpin A2 - very versatile tyre, Continental ContiWinterContact TS 790 - all around outside grip on snow, Continental TS 810 - better but still no revelations the snow, Dunlop Wintersport M3 - very versatile, virtually no weak points). To sum up - a great tyre at a very good price, I was not expecting such good właściwiości the tyre in this price range, choose from gdgybym had replaced the tyres which I thought only between Debica and Dunlop - shame the rest of the money ... I just took them off and started a summer. 4 MSCE use and 12 thousand km allowed me to form an objective opinion on these tyres. I knew Frigo1 is good I had the opportunity to ride and initially went to the stock exchange in order to purchase them, however, was when I saw a small difference in price I chose Frigo2 and was not disappointed. As for the snow I do not know whether it can be even better for me and it's great not only in the sudden rain but also niecleared of snow buried and rural roads. I would advise careful on wet braking caused a sharp pair that my confidence in them has slowed. On the ice you know you may be better but I do not think that for the money. Smoothly even on dry braking with greater speed is not an issue, but with a positive temperature become like a little soft on the corners even though I hold a great feeling that the car is leaning. As for the noise to go ahead and recommend for me are quiet skiff is a lot louder. I noticed slight signs of wear are easily two or three seasons. Read more Collapse

Just a good tyre, works in all conditions, but I would not recommend driving on them at the area. 10 * C - are too soft (and therefore two have "slowed down"). But when frosts great, they have a very good draft and hold, but about slippery surfaces during braking only inform how to turn on ABS. On dry and wet roads reportedly fared poorly in the tests (test AS), but frankly the wet stick much better than P6000 and Continentale year (4 mm tread). I did not feel any signs when driving in dry conditions (not inhibit the piskami), they behave normally. Sure, there are better tyres, but certainly not in this price class. For me the most important was to keep the tyres on slippery surfaces, such as when you need the best grip. I have had these tyres, recently had Fulda (match - even though the tests AS better) and I decided to go back to them in view of their excellent traction on snow. Easy can ride them safely through the snow up to 30 km / h faster than the others :-) Read more Collapse

While the snow is really about, so much of the wet surface itself can not manage at all. With stricter catch traction wheel slip and braking abs has a mass of work. For dry is ok, but without going crazy. When it comes to cornering it does not judge, because the profile is big so whatever the tire is not too stable. As far as the noise is tolerable. I take into account that the focus is not heavily muted by car, but comparing them with other tires. It is a little louder, but I do not mind. Suppression of inequality - here very well but probably also due to the high profile. Rolling resistance I am not able to judge so do not point out anything here to be objective. Durability - for the price is ok. Appearance not judge because it's a matter of taste and should not affect the overall evaluation of the tire. Read more Collapse

Tempted to buy these tires due to promotions. She was wyprzedaz and has bought quite cheaply. And, unfortunately, at this point finished their advantages. Switched from phenomenal for me Roadstone Winguard 231. To this day, I regret. A lot of workout winter and I shows a comparison. Ryde is a 2-class stated below. I read the opinions of others and I am in shock. These tires are behaving very badly both on wet and snow. I was afraid exceed 80 km / h in winter because the car was very uncertain. I can not imagine an emergency braking at this speed. Problems with moving off of pint snow is the norm on these tires. Once buried like a brother to me from the house he had to pull his car because Ryde August buried. In previous tire never something similar had happened to me. Sharp turns are also stress because it was hard to sense them. On another winter definitely I take my previous tires, and finally I will be able to ride safely and without stress. Read more Collapse

Frigo 2 have 3 cars, in every great exercise. Tire temperatures approx. 10 C is very soft which noticeably improves driving comfort. It does very well on dry and wet roads while snow and slush that's her element - which is rarely the tire behaves well in deep snow or even ice. The official cars I have Michelin Alpin A3 and Uniroyal MS plus 66. Compared to Michelin Debica is primarily quieter, slightly worse on dry (softness), comparable to the wet and the sky better in the snow / ice. What should be noted is much slower Michelin uses - enough for about 10 thousand miles more. Uniroyal at Debica is much much louder, and comparable in all nawieżchniach except where known Debica snow does not give chance to others. As for the volume of which I read a few reviews actually noticed their differences, for example. Frigo 2 in size 175 is louder than 185 and 195 which utilizes. Considering the price of tires in my opinion is the No.1 Debica. Yours Read more Collapse

Long read the reviews of other users and analyzed the competition (m.in Kleber, Fulda) before thinking about buying a used "reputable" Randy and I'm glad I did not do it:] tyres fulfill their task in the winter 90% (ideal is spikes) . In soft snow, slush and also stick to the well - no elevation of the corners, swimming etc surprises (at moderate speed:]) on the ice - hmmm, a little more than a year tyres (probably a mixture of makes itself felt), but as someone earlier wrote: the "ice-spikes". Drawbacks: it is caused by rolling noise (you can stand) but definitely not recommend driving (of course in dry conditions) of more than 130 km / h - car starts to lose maneuverability and be uncertain. Balloon is also quite high (I have 185/55/14 summer - is a difference!) - On the soft going for it, but it bends the bends - no, but it's finally winter tyre:]. Summary: for the price - definitely worth it! Read more Collapse

I think tyres of 3 weeks. After damage to wheels and tyres with "you fall" in the hole I had to purchase a new road and good for the winter! I had some Korean old with 2 mm tread. Frigo once ridden on the Maluchu then it was really a good buy! Now also after reading the reviews on this site and when prompted by the brother zakupielm Frigo 2 Rewelka! Tyres as they go about life in the snow! A few times I had to tow the Audi 80 Which frozen to the snow. As I started to pull it tyres snow rather than throwing it ubijaly ... They worked so hard that I made 5 cm hole in the snow until I got in the ground! Massacre! Tread on them is probably the biggest of the winter tyres I know! Robie big routes and workout autostardach and at 110 km / h does not lose contact with the ground and inhibit very confident! What to abrasion, too fast looking for something to write. I recommend with a clear conscience! Read more Collapse

-tyres After 5 seasons look like new, considering that winter has spared us the snow for the last 3 seasons is tire should already be long bald. (I do not know why he does not wear but personally I think that despite everything should) -tyre winter in the city does not work, usually swept back roads more slippery than wet or buried. The tire in the wet falls in practice poorly + overwhelmed roads are indeed strong side of the tire, there is no option except to be buried somewhere or to get stuck on the road nieodgarniętej. -When The spring comes and the first rays of the March sun will warm asphalt, tire squealing at every turn and at roundabouts is really up sometimes shame. I would recommend tires if someone drives a little and slowly, surely tires after 10 years will be like new. If someone expects a lot of rides and grip on wet and slippery road is unfortunately not recommend Read more Collapse

This is not the first set of tyres I bought ktróre. Previous use a vehicle in the Ford Escort, even before the previous version of the Ford Mondeo. Since I live in the mountains, I attach particular importance to keep in a typical winter: snow / ice / slush, and I think that these tyres have a great relationship price / quality and is suited to such surfaces. Assessment of noise can be subjective, during the change from diesel engines. Because of the ride in the mountains (often kopnym holes in the snow and the roads) purchased a high profile tyres, which is not conducive to maintaining the high-speed cornering on dry pavement, but I think she did give advice. One last thing: many of my friends use those tyres on different cars and has not yet met with a bad opinion about them. Of course, you probably are better tyres, but probably not in this price category. I recommend! Read more Collapse

Tyre sensational when it comes to performance on snow and slush. Superb traction in a large snow drifts, etc. The tyre, which is so much better than the other, more expensive brands. The only minus - very high attrition reasons for a very soft blend and you have to be very careful in the spring, when temperatures rise as strongly slips and rubs, but something at the expense of something. The tyre, which is designed to have a great drain snow and slush has to be soft and to the winter tyre is used. To date, toured several different sets of Debica in different sizes and on different cars and, when it comes to winter tyre, I see no better tyres for the winter. It is a pity that he does not Debica larger sizes such as 225/55/16 and I was forced to buy tyres at the competition three times more expensive, and two times worse. Thank you and best regards, Szymon. Read more Collapse

I've tested a lot of tires in size 175 R14 and mostly they differ only ... price. Debica Frigo has a standard tread without frills, standard softness and goes to them ... standard?! I'll say this, I had the opportunity to drive a 4x4 car with winter tires 245mm width of 18 inches and it was a different world, I ride every day ordinary przednionapędowym car tires R14 175 ... even if you bought the tires from NASA million, respectively, and that art is not physics mock. Debica in no way inferior and those 2x more expensive abroad nothing better. As someone not enough grip, I recommend the new Audi Quattro with the tires after 1200PLN art, then we can talk about a quick and safe driving in the snow, and considering that the tire size 175 R14 has a greater lateral support than competing in the same size so it's probably write Reps tire companies. I am the owner of tyre service and I decided on these tyres, due to their reliable test to be able to say something next season, more customers than the fact that it is an older model of good year-a 5, which was a good tyre, the tyre so far is doing quite well, you can not write anything about it because it would be abrasive to unreliable after 3000 km, in the region where I live Giant has encountered along the way ice and snow, the tyre kept safe and there is nothing to require and compare it to the conti, pirelli etc. I do not the way to go, these tyres are about 50% more expensive, I can not understand only one in the user reviews, and you can write anything about the new tyres after driving 100, 300 or 500 km, after all these tyres "are still fat," even my 3000 km looks miserable, summarizing my argument - very good tyre for this price. My first winter tyres so you do not have to compare, but after one season (15,000 miles) I can recommend. Roads are still going strong, not unpleasant nispodzianek made. snow / packed snow gusting to ice - hill starts without problems. Very good exercise for kopnym snow and slush. At 110 km / h on the ring road truck forced me to bend to enter a nieodgarnięte mud / snow one side and no problem went away. 0 slides all winter. Winter may not be representative, but despite everything I recommend tyres. Every day I'm doing the 100 km to and from work, as well as survived 2500 in route to Austria. Jednyna defect probably are pretty loud, but I can not really compare. I can not assess the wear after one season. Appearance because they do not judge do not watch. Rolling resistance probably quite large, but that's normal in winter tyres. Read more Collapse
