Goodyear UG Performance G1 is an entirely new edition, made for mid-range to higher-class cars. This model is an enhanced version of its predecessor. First of all, it provides an even higher level of performance, particularly in the harshest winter conditions, and so on wet, snowy and muddy surfaces it performs well. This tyre also delivers a strong performance on dry roads too.
Goodyear UG Performance G1 is a tyre, which in the course of many tests is ideally suited to road conditions in central Europe. This model includes deep circumferential grooves - this provides an effective drainage mechanism to make the tyre free from aquaplaning risk. As a result, you can enjoy complete protection against slipping during rain, snow or with residual slush on the road. Furthermore, the manufacturer took care that the tyre was created with a greener rubber compound, so it has less impact on the environment.
Goodyear UG Performance G1 has a light structure, which means that the tyre has lower rolling resistance and therefore helps consume less fuel. Additional cuts on the the tread provide very good adhesion and short braking distances on snowy and icy roads. There are many fins to build traction in all conditions, which also translates into shorter stopping distances.
Hydrodynamic tread grooves guarantee better resistance to slipping on water and slush – they are placed on the massive ribs on the tyre. This rib element is designed to ensure stable handling, which affects not only the safety but also the comfort of the journey. It's a modern tread with appropriately spaced individual elements to guarantee not only very good grip, comfort, but also slow and even wear.
Goodyear UG Performance G1 includes a tread wear indicator in the shape of a snowflake, which means the driver can clearly see when the tyre has lost a significant part of its performance and should be replaced.
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tyre companies. The American company has been in business for over 100 years. Goodyear tyre logo are among the highest quality products. The company also owns surrogate brands Debica, Sava, Dunlop and Fulda.
