GY SUV it had a great review. I drove to the thousands of miles on them. I thought Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV will be the same or better. As for the evaluation of traction and braking on dry and wet roads it maintains performance of its predecessor which is sensational. One of the best aquaplaning resistance (one of my main criteria when buying winter tyres). Aquaplaning whilecornering is a bit worse. If I drove around the city in winter only in wet conditions or slush they'd be even better than previous ones. But to be honest it seems that their prodecessor has a better grip in the snowy conditions. The fact is that I do have a powerful engine but Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV tyres should cope as well or better than previous model in the most trivial circumstances. Dunlop fared significantly better. Which is strange since it's basicaly the same company. Overally GY and D are to be recommended among the other although some upgrades should be done in the future. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres for my new car Acura MDX AWD. Large SUV with 4WD. In the previous car i had Ultra Grip 7 which seened to be best choice for SUV so I decided that the Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV was an good choice also. I was pleasantly surprised that after this winter i could see a little wear on them. At the time of buying these tyres i got were UG7 2 tyres and 2 of the new production. Unfortunately, these two older tyres had a slightly worse road feedback than the new ones. These were previously mounted on Honda with pressure sensors. I decided to buy another 2 Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV once the UG7 will run outta tread. The Honda service told me that the older ones tend to have quite a bit of treadwear, but the 2 tyres of the new production are perfect. I'd certainly give my opinion to the Oponeo while buying the tyres next time. Read more Collapse

Although i'm driving on a variety of road with multitude of different conditions, i feel very confident and safe on Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV tyres. I've tested those during freezing rain on the way - at a speed of about 40mph. When driving on ice they keep the car in line so no slushplaning or slippage were noted. I was most impressed do much better than my current summer tyres in the dry at the time (it was the end of October - temp about 10 degrees). Colossal difference! High profile is good for comfort especially while driving on a road of not the best quality .. Read more Collapse

Because I value safety, i always change to winter tyres in winter. Although i got Navara multigrade and drive 4 * 4, I still believe that a good car deserves a good tyre. In my opinion Goodyear Ultragrip + SUV are great tyres in relation to its price, and good security on route is priceless, all who drive pickups in winter will know what I'm writing about.
