Tyre details:
When Kleber decided to design a successor for one of its most popular winter tyres, the Krisalp HP2, the result was the Krisalp HP3. This particular version is designed for SUVs. The Kleber Krisalp HP3 SUV is a mid-range model featuring a directional tread pattern, which easily handles winter conditions.
The specially designed blade arrangement offers guaranteed drivability on snow and hassle-free moving off, braking and cornering. A rubber compound based on functional elastomers ensures safety on icy roads. Braking distances on ice have been shortened by almost 1 metre (8%) compared to the Krisalp HP2. The Kleber Krisalp HP3 SUV has been given a label rating of B (outstanding) for wet braking. It is also very resistant to aquaplaning, with the arrangement of grooves on the tread increasing resistance on straight roads by 15% and on corners by 13% compared to the previous model.
The Kleber brand belongs to the Michelin Group, which means that it can access a wealth of innovative technological solutions. Although its history stretches back to 1910, Kleber was officially founded in 1945. The brand's tyres are noted for their good performance, reliability and attractive prices. The brand's mascot is a Boxer dog, intended to symbolise safety, reliability and control in any situation. The brand name comes indirectly from the revolutionary French commander Jean-Baptiste Kleber, who gave his name to the street in Paris where Kleber set up business after World War II.
