WR Snowproof P is a premium class tyre, developed by the Finnish company Nokian Tyres, known for producing top quality winter tyres. They are designed for passenger cars, and the directional tread with the Alpine Sense Grip technology is designed to provide incredible comfort on snowy roads. The model's designers considered functionality in really cold terrain, so drivers from almost every corner of the globe can be sure that the tyres can handle even the most unfavourable atmospheric conditions on the road.
When travelling in winter, you need to be much more careful about safety. It is important that the car moves smoothly, confidently and precisely and that the braking distance is as short as possible. Therefore, Nokian Tyres decided to use Alpine Sense Grip technology. It is based on the use of three elements:
- special Alpine Performance mix;
- an optimized tread pattern;
- dense mesh of lamellas.
The compound used improves the tyre's grip and provides low rolling resistance to save fuel. Moreover, the tyres wear more slowly.
In turn, the well thought-out, directional tread allows for more confident car manoeuvring and also makes the tyre wear evenly. The tread also features dense sipes and polished grooves, which make the car better suited to wet or snow-covered ground.
Additionally WR Snowproof P was equipped with a winter safety indicator. The numbers stamped on the rubber and the snowflake symbol indicate the level of tyre wear to the user.
Nokian Tyres is a Finnish company producing premium class tyres, appreciated especially in winter conditions. The brand is considered to be an expert in the field of tyres for snowy roads. No wonder, since it was the first to produce winter tyres in 1934. The seat of Nokian Tyres is located in the town of Nokia on the Nokianvirta River.
