Pirelli PZero

I bought these for my GTC VXR as they came standard with the car whenever you buy one. I stuck with them as they gripped the road superbly! Yes, they are expensive, but not on Oponeo (got them for about £148 instead of £250 everywhere else) but when you have your foot down in a 280bhp car, you know you're going to go through tyres! They are sticky in the dry and good in the wet, but being a sensible person, you know not to go daft speeds in the wet regardless of what car and tyres you have. Very good tyre. I have owned Pirelli tyres before and this time I was not disappointed. My next purchase will also be a tyre from the PZero series. It is very comfortable when driving calmly and behaves a bit like a soft tyre, but when driving hard it gives a lot of confidence to the driver. In my opinion it is rather a hard tyre, because I have not noticed a loss of 1 millimetre since I started using it. In short, despite the low price it is worth buying. Unfortunately with aggressive driving they wear out quite quickly, but before them I had Bridgestone Potenza S001 which only lasted one season. well a bit of a stretch as towards the end they were a bit more slicks. Going back to the pzero, it looks like it will be similar. But not everyone drives like me. I like to take it easy on the straights and go fast in the corners. That is why I need good tyres. I have never been a supporter of Pirelli, but the P Zero is doing the job. They let you drive fast and aggressively especially on bendy roads. like to overtake, it does not matter whether it is dry or wet. Tires had a great grip on the wet . This is what I love about them it is a hell of a grip! If you are not sure believe me. I bought a second set for next season but I got also bridgestone and even unpacked them. I searched quite a long time for tyres that will match my requirements. Pirelli P Zero suprised me with their quality. Brilliant behavior on dry road surface. On wet road surface the grip surpassed my expectations. Imo they are better than ContiSport2. I think that I will have a dillemma chosing between PZero and SportContact5. A tyre that should suit anyone who likes to ride fast and sporty. After changing to Pzero from Bridgeston Potenza I felt a huge difference in favour of the Pzero. Much better handling, much better grip (maybe this makes them wear faster, but worth it). ALL ROUND GOOD TYRE, BUT REARS ARE NOW NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AFTER JUST 6,000 MILES, WHILST THE FRONTS ARE STILL LIKE NEW. I ADMIT THAT THE 6,000 MILES WAS ALL ON EUROPEAN MOTORWAYS, OFTEN DOING SPEEDS OF 125+ MPH ON THE GERMAN AUTOBAHNS, BUT WOULD STILL HAVE EXPECTED BETTER MILEAGE THAT THIS FROM A WORLD RENOWN MAKE OF TYRE SUCH AS PIRELLI. I live in Northern Scotland , lots of rain , good grip in wet conditions and excellent wear qualities , had in excess of 26,000mls on front tyres and 34,000mls on rears ,not the cheapest tyre on the market , but with results like I have had with this tyre , replacement with Pirelli P/Zero was the obvious choice Read more Collapse

In dry conditions they grip very nice and my car handles ok as well. Unfortunately, the quality is very poor for such a high price. One of my new bought tyre appeared to have unequal tread- what makes them impossible to balance and that is the cause of huge wobbles on my steering wheel. Dont recommend. Read more Collapse

Oponeo provided a very speedy service for a fraction of the price that Audi, Kwik fit or any other tyre company I tried. I used this tyre as it was the tyre on the vehicle when I bought it from new, it does have its flaws but Oponeo price compared to everyone else made it a worthwhile choice. Read more Collapse

Pirelli P Zero is excellent in every aspect. This year I rode on it a lot in the tour abroad without any problems (quiet, durable adhesive). I would recommend Pirelli P Zero everyone who has the power in his car and likes to press the gas pedal harder, sometimes. Read more Collapse

Probably the best I've ever had to deal with. First impressions after putting Pirelli P Zero on remain to this day, despite several months of operation. Placed on BMW5xDrive 3.0 and perfectly able to cope with this car and its nature - I don't drive easily. Read more Collapse

Pirelli P Zero were put on BMW 730D 2010. While starting it is very exposed to vibrations, especially on wet... Noisy while driving, grip withoiut any issues. The only disadvantage I see in Pirelli P Zero is significant wear - droven 20000 miles on'em. Read more Collapse

Wide, aesthetically finished with a rim for a 19 inch rim. They adapt beautifully to the road, especially on bends. I have done more than 15 thousand over six months and I have not noticed anything disturbing, everything in good order. I recommend ! Read more Collapse

I was using Michelin Pilot 4 tyres on my previous car and now I can feel the difference in comfort. Those were a lot smoother. Not that the Pirelli’s are bad they are just not as good as the Michelins. They look great on the wheels. Read more Collapse
