The model Vredestein Wintrac is a premium tyre that was developed in response to the changing winter climate in Europe. The Vredestein specialists have developed their new design to preserve tyres on wet surfaces, which are increasingly predominant in this period.
That's why the new directional tread is equipped with patented 3D sipes to combat aquaplaning. Compared to its predecessor, the Snowtrac 5, the tread contact area is also increased by 5%.
Due to the increasing temperature differences during the winter season, the rubber mixture also had to be adapted to these needs. It is based on silica to maintain its flexibility in freezing conditions, but its density has been increased to extend its life span by up to 10,000 km compared to its predecessor.
Vredestein is a premium Dutch manufacturer whose products are especially appreciated by drivers who value the quality and aesthetics of their tyres. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the models look great in higher class cars, and at the same time offer good properties in both seasonal and all-season variants.
