Michelin PILOT SPORT 3

The Michelin Pilot Sport 3 is better than the PS2 in many ways. First of all, behaviour on wet is better than the one of any other summer tyre in that size. The tyre is extremely resistant to aquaplanning, allowing for much safer and more enthusiastic driving in the rain. Behaviour on dry leaves nothing to complain about. The braking distance may be a little shorter than the other tyres, but the grip and stability in the corners at high speed (over 150 MPH on the motorways) are at the highest level. The tyre wears faster, but it's the soft compound that provides the parameters. Tire worth the money. I recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 3 to those drivers who like driving fast and powerful cars. I've tried various top brand tyres and these are far the best on my fiesta. Sure grip and handling are great, a lot better than the tyres it came with, I always thought the front end was going to slide away, but with these Michelin's my fiesta stick to the road like glue. Noise wise, a bit! but nothing to rattle my cage. A great buy in my opinion and dealing with Oponeo is a pleasure delivering them to where I want, when I want so will be back guaranteed to buy more tyres when needed. Michelin Pilot Sport 3 are definitely worth the money spent for them. The highest class, as Michelin should be. Driving on dry is as on any other tyres. But what happens on wet is something great. The car is like on tracks, the grip is awesome. You feel that you are fully in control of the car and it goes where you want it to go. And I think it's the most important thing, to feel safe. I use a pair of these tyres on the front axle of my remapped 335d and they have been excellent. As it is not essential for me to have branded tyres, they turn out no to be expensive considering the mileage they made. I do sometimes some cornering at quite a speed, and they've always shown excellent grip and have worn evenly. Due to the mileage I do I had to do suspension maintenance a few times and wheel alignment for better handling and even tyre wear. I would recommend everyone to have this done every other year or ideally annually. Read more Collapse

I always seek the best tyres available. In the past I have had bridgestone potenzas both s02 and s03 pp and goodyear eagle f1s on this car. The pilot sport 3s are the best of all these. Great grip in the dry or the wet. I do not care about economy or noise I want safe secure grip in all conditions and these tyres have given me that over the last year. My commute involves country lanes, dual carriageway and city driving and these tires perform great in all circumstances. Dry weather grip is good and car handles well and the wet weather grip is fantastic. These are being used in place of Bridgestone tires and they appear to be far more durable lasting almost twice as long. Overall defiantly worth paying the premium price for a quality brand. I am only a simple user and not a specialist, but I have to admit that compared to Continental tyres I got at the showroom with my new S60, Michelin Pilot Sport 3 are way better. My fuel consumption is the same, noise level is the same as well. Driving comfort is even better. I can see only advantages, therefore I can recommend Michelin Pilot Sport 3 with a clear conscience. Have nearly 10,000km up on the Michelin PILOT SPORT 3 tyres. Overall they are very good, only slight criticism I would have is that when taking off from a stand still in the wet they can spin up easier than expected. So far the best tyres I have had. Grip in the dry and wet is sensational despite the low weight of the car. The only inconvenience is that they are quite noisy and wear quickly, but this is the price for phenomenal grip. Before I bought Michelin Pilot Sport 3, I had Bridgestone Turanza, which I had to throw out after two seasons (ca. 16 thousand miles). As for now, my Michelin Pilot Sport 3 have done ca. 4500 miles and their wear is almost unnoticeable. I can defnitely recommend - Michelin Pilot Sport 3 is worth the money spent for it. Great tyre compared to the mid range tyres i had on before is night and day. Take corners with confidence and dont have to be gentle with the fast peddle as the mid range tyres would spin not these. Warring quite fast but think thats more to do with me than the tyres. Lasting alot longer than the mid range tyres. Read more Collapse

I am a test driver for major OEM's so I only want the finest tyres on my own car These tyres are actually pretty well priced for performance they offer. They are a well rounded tyres with the only minor fault being a bit harsh over trajectories, this is a trade of for sharp performance which I personally prefer. Read more Collapse

The tyres do very well in fast corners in the dry and wet, you really have to make an effort to lose grip. The car drives very confidently at hard motorway speeds, they balance well with not the slightest tremor on the steering wheel. For a low profile they are quite soft and absorb bumps better. I would think twice before buying this tyres. Rubber cracked all way around so you can see cores. Failed MOT. Apparently 5 years warranty however will have to fight for money back. Read more Collapse
