I bought these tyres encouraged by enthusiastic opinions and I have to admit that I am a little disappointed. The tyres grip well in the corners, you can do much without danger. In the rain they behave normally, but aquaplaning still occurs sometime. Driving comfort will probably satisfy most drivers, but for me it could be a little harder, but i's a matter of getting used to it. One thing is for sure - even with low profile the tyre will not be too hard. A great advantage is the fringe protector. However, if the temperatures is above 18 - 20 degrees, the tyres tend to lose traction both during braking (ABS could switch on 3 - 4 times a day on warmer days on dry) and during starting (dynamic start in summer was practically impossible). Therefore, I don't know where they got the opinion of soprts tyres. Currently (at about 15 degrees temperature) they're slightly better, although they're still far from perfect. I know from other users that less powerful cars do well on them, but rthey're not recommended for more powerful ones. Rolling resistance is slight, even though the tyre width is relatively large. Their wear-off is above average due to constant wheelspins. I can't hear their noise, but the car is pretty well soundproofed, so i don't know the exact level of noise. Appearance is good, but it could be improved. I can't comment on its behaviour on snow as I don't use summer tyres in winter. I'll buy something more competitive next time. Read more Collapse

I have been driving on the Continental ContiSport Contact 5 tyres for some time and I think the Toyo Proxes T1-R are much better. I purchased the Toyo tyres in the size 225/45 R17 94 W, ZR rated and the first noticeable difference is a noise level. They are very quiet and they are a way more comfortable than my previous Continentals. My vehicle is very stable even over 150 mph (of course on the German motorways;)). It is difficult to tell whether they are equally stable in rainy weather conditions as I did not develop such a high speed on a wet road. In dry conditions, the Toyo Proxes T1-R provide so astonishing grip that I have an impression like my car was sticked to the road. The fuel consumption is lower than it was while I was using Continental tyres. I have read somewhere that all Toyo tyres tend to wear out quickly but I will be able to tell more about their durability after two seasons. I suppose that Continentals had a harder rubber compound. I am equipped with some Tyoyo tyres for a winter season as well. I am very happy with a quality of the Toyo Proxes T1-R and I think it is not worth paying more for different premium tyres as you will not feel a difference at all. I would like to recommend these tyres to all, who drive slowly and these, who want to feel sheer driving sensations. The tyres are comfortable and they look good :) Read more Collapse

I drive rather smoothly and do not exceed the speed limit. I decided to add some review in order to share my opinion with all drivers. The Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres are fantastic. They provide a solid grip and safety in all weather conditions. It is a great pleasure to drive a car on these tyres, especially on a motorway. The tyres are doing well on a wet surface although I have a quite powerful vehicle (260 horsepower, 340 n/m). Recently, I have mounted the Brembo discs and in combination with these tyres, the braking distance is amazingly short! Now I have a feeling of safety on the road. I cannot rate their durability but I think the tyres should preserve their full performance for several seasons. They are not too loud. I would even say that my car has become more comfortable once I mounted the Toyo Proxes T1-R. In a rainy weather they do their job properly. Really good tyres available in a reasonable price. I am satisfied with a quality of the product I purchased. I know it was a good choice. I would like to recommend them to everyone who drives often in a city. I have never experienced any vibrations or disturbing noise while driving my vehicle. In the nearest future I am planning to purchase the newest model – the Toyo R888! Read more Collapse

I have changed my old Semperit Speed Life tyres for these Toyo Proxes T1-R. The size is 215/50R17. All Toyo tyres are characterized by an outstanding grip on a dry surface. They are very predictable on a dry road. They are not so good in a wet weather but I think it may be connected with a vehicle weight. Probably in lighter cars they do their job a way better. The Toyo Proxes T1-R tyre is a bit louder than its predecessor. But it is not a disadvantage. After doing about 3500 miles I have noticed the first signs of wear. They were a bit loud at the beginning but now everything is ok. I think they rather should not be mounted on heavy vehicles (the weight of my Vauxhall Vectra is over 1,5 t). Generally speaking, these are good tyres for good money. If you have a compact car, I would like to fully recommend the Toyo Proxes T1-R. I you have a bigger vehicle, I would think twice before making a purchase as they are not so perfect in wet conditions. In my opinion, there are no ideal tyres for rainy weather but I can see a clear difference between my old Semperit and these Toyo Proxes in terms of their wet grip performance. Read more Collapse

I have decided to purchase the Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres because I had really good memories concerning this particular brand. Another reason assuring me that my choice was right is my fast and aggressive driving style (I read somewhere that these tyres are recommended to such drivers). My vehicle is a 166 horsepower Mazda 6 with front wheel drive (the first generation). I have the following impressions after some time of usage: they have an excellent grip in corners, especially when taking them at a high speed. Apart from high speed cornering their braking distance in dry conditions is very good. It is a bit worse in a dry weather. The Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres are comfortable and surprisingly quiet. I cannot tell a lot about their durability after such a short period of time. However, I care about the tyres, I try to maintain correct tyre pressures for the load and speed conditions. The tyres look good, they have a nice tread pattern. From my point of view, the Toyo Proxes T1-R constitute a top of premium brand tyres. I think that everyone who sees them mounted on a car will have the same opinion. Read more Collapse

.. They are not donuts are looking for, like a weak motor 120km in the doghouse EP, and when starting and with more aggressive cornering portafią flow. Tires after you go about half tread behave much worse, driving on wet roads can quite calmly abandoned in turn (even backwards), but then does not feel complete loss of control. While aggressive driving paradoxically behave better than the style "of a drop." The draw will add that one of the tires contribute to pull the car to the right, after being thrown into the back of the problem stopped. Rant is protective, but not entirely fulfilling its role. The great advantage of the tires is how they look, especially when the subtitle "TOYO Proxes" on the side wall of white felt-tip will emphasize oil painting;) summarizing - good tires, good stick on dry, a little worse in the wet, but the second time I do not buy them. Now it's time a new model of a completely different design. I hope you will make, and in due time to write an opinion about the new model T1Sport. Read more Collapse

Longer uses these tires for 11 years, I never failed, so the water is not particularly love, but to a reasonable speed even on wet roads give a sense of security. Radically changes the case when it is dry, very well keep in dry conditions which must of course be paid for with higher rolling resistance than the competition (not easy to break traction - I'm not saying you can not) so the faster tread wear. And yet in the last set I made 70 thousand. miles. They are quite noisy and if the vehicle is not particularly noise-dampened example. Older vehicles that noise can be annoying. Of course, everything is a compromise as in life. However, I recommend them, but supposedly after so many years no longer manufactured and on the market are the last items. Read more Collapse

The newly purchased tires founded on newly purchased Fegi good German manufacturer. Immediately there were problems with the steering wheel vibration. The whole car vibrated while driving. After an unsuccessful, two-balancing of the various workshops the problem persists. So I checked tire of manufacturing a specialized unit of pressure. It turned out that the standard of "variations of forces" were exceeded more than twice in three of the four tires, so they are not suitable for anything. Oponeo.co.uk survived very nicely, picked up tires and after five days I had the info that they recognize the warranty. I received another new tires. In general, I'm satisfied with Oponeo but Toyo definitely advise against. Read more Collapse

Tire sensational! One of the more expensive, but never better had. Ideally suited for lighter cars with high power. On a dry surface gives a really fun ride, brilliantly keeps cornering, even if the driver a little bear;) In addition, they are very quiet and with the width of the rolling resistance did not interfere. The first set I bought along with the car and for three years running was very little worn. Now I bought new, and I'm extremely satisfied with them ... and this prestigious inscription on the side: D The only down side I notice is that sometimes donuts are not keeping pace in the wet, but with the power of 182 hp so it's probably hard to find. Welcome. Auto KM/400 200 Nm, front-wheel drive. Very good if ... tight warm up, then good stick and can exceed unknown barriers cornering speeds. In the city lose traction rapidly moving. In the wet you have to be careful at 160 km / h entering in a rut, I thought that I will not leave it. On a wet but you can ride style emeryckim and max to 90 km / h I travel a lot, I had different tires, for those I have heard a lot purchased, but apparently these were the opinions of people who really do not have to deal with good tires ... In conclusion, if you drive safely are ok, but if you fast and VERY fast these tires do not pass the exam. Read more Collapse

Przejeździłem on these tires one season (approx. 7000km) and I have something to say about them. Given that prefer more sporty driving (acceleration of the car under 8s. To 100km / h) tires are exposed to more difficult operating conditions. I would suggest buying them great views and opinions on this website and was not disappointed. Excellent tires on both dry and wet weather. Traction control on the wet activated the really rare, no aquaplaning. Well keep in corners. I'm satisfied to the extent that the current selling car left myself a set of these tires to the next. Super tires, sincerely recommend. Read more Collapse

is a good tire is the 3rd time you buy after trying other brands such as Michelin falken etc and true value for money I stay with Toyo, is a brand that is not recognized in Spain com deserves but if we look at cars power in other countries ride and race cars Toyo t 1 r doing great in dry and wet mud sucks but it's not a tire for this reason, use with a very sporty driving style and feel of grip is spectacular and the price is more to me I value a 9.5 not being a brand, and often unknown in Spain who have to discredit me condusca very deportivcamente conprendera and wet for sports ranging dpm greetings Read more Collapse

I bought tires from command colleague who is selling and installing tires. It was a very good decision. As for the price it's not overly expensive but the cheapest does not belong. But if anyone draws attention to the quality and then the price I think it will not disappoint. I am very pleased. On a dry run is exemplary, holding on bends and on straight. They are pretty quiet, which is not so obvious at the tread pattern. In the rain, well disperse water even at higher speeds behave predictably. Look, well of taste is not discussed, I like the pattern but in this field look is not the most important. Read more Collapse

Hello. Tire really great, keeps frantically to dry the wet is ok, the car is always in control. Excellent damping comfort, noise sensitive but this is due to the tread pattern which cuts through the air. These tires have a lot of forgiving, always yelling bluntly that their end is coming-but the possibility to get to this point, you have to have eggs:) Turns on the Croatian Bus did stress while driving about 30 / 40km / h faster than the year before that Continental tires squealed at every turn, and you could feel the desire to flow. I really recommend-drivability great design świetny.Porządna rubber. Read more Collapse

I drove already on these tires a few thousand, I was even on vacation 1500km in one way so I can say little about them. Great stick to the road, it's hard to break traction at the start. I had the opportunity to go during a downpour, where the road was created "river" and even then the tires did very very well. They do not make noise too (something I know this because I have a convertible). I did not notice also increase fuel consumption, and before that I had a narrower tires of another company. Tires as most recommend. Read more Collapse

After driving 7000km tires can be assessed as good. On a dry surface firmly stick to the road while overcoming arcs at approximately 140km / h gives a feeling of light "swimming". On wet pavement is a little worse but not blameworthy. With 200 horsepower motorcycle on average cope with adhesion. What a noise like someone buys a "Christmas tree" for appearance must also reckon with the fact that the tread will not provide undisturbed silence. In conclusion tires recommendable, but not for drivers with sporty. Read more Collapse

Tires are stuck quite well in dry conditions, but rain in comparison to such RainSport 2 who has virtually the same tread pattern TOYO is bardzooo weak. a large downside for me is also the durability of tires where I need them to exchange (front cover after 2 seasons of summer) and the rear guard after 3 seasons. advantage is a relatively rigid sidewall of the tire so the tire on the rim looks good and there is no August impression of moving forward with "saggy" tire Read more Collapse

It's a really good tire, I use them for 12 years (3 sets). Great for dry, carefully in the wet. I would not recommend to a super long runs, quite loud and has a large rolling resistance so rubs off faster than the average, ie I do waveforms 60-70 thousand. on the set. Do you recommend them .. YES. NOTE ... new tires put a label signs you need to read and understand ... Low rolling resistance means low fuel consumption it ..... slippery tire, I realized about winter tires. I was very disappointed in these tires, because it turned out that the assumption of a car and driving slightly "pulls" on the right. Disadvantages of this has not eliminated despite the repeated attempts of translating the rear tire on the front, etc., by an authorized Toyota service. Finally, as a result of the submitted complaint Oponeo uzanało that the tires were defective. Such problems I had the first time in over 20 years driving and using a car. Read more Collapse
