    Opinion from outside the UK

I have been thinking about summer tyres for a long time. First of all, I assumed that tyres are not the element of a car worth saving on. After reading many opinions, tests and reviews, I decided to choose the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. Positive results in ADAC tests, opinions of Oponeo users and reviews found on the Internet convinced me to choose these tyres. Now about the tyres themselves. The mileage so far is about 6000 - it is hard to say about wear and tear at this stage, as it is a low mileage. As for the handling characteristics, for the first 2,000 km the tyres performed strangely - namely the wheels of the car did not return to the "straight ahead" direction after coming out of a curve. This is something you can get used to, but it should not happen. However, I gave the tyres a chance and, once they had set, the problem disappeared. The tyres perform very well in bends, with no loss of control. Braking is very good and there is rarely any slip when starting off. The manufacturer claims that the tyres have a lower rolling resistance, so fuel consumption is reduced. To be honest, I did not experience any reduction in fuel consumption in my car. A word about noise - the tyre is definitely quiet, but the road surface also plays a role. Depending on the type of asphalt, the tyre can be noisier or quieter. All in all, this tyre is truly recommendable and I think that any driver who wants a premium tyre at a good price should turn their eyes to the Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I have to say that I am very positivelu suprised with my Bridgestone Ecopia EP150. I thought that only Michelin makes comfortable tyres. I bought my new Passat B5 and I had winter tyres on it in the size 195/65R15. I experienced a very hard suspension which is actually a common thing with those cars. I thought that I should better get used to that as I was not aware of anything that can make my suspension a bit softer. I bought a new set of alloys to fit them for summer season. After putting Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 onto my car the driving comfort improved pretty much. There is absolutely no noise generated by those tyres and the driving became a very pleasant. I judge them A+ in my Passat. I dod not test them on a track but still i believe that Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 is a very decent tyre. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I recently changed the rims on my AUDI A4 and decided, following reviews and an ADAC test, to buy Bridgestones EP 150 in size 205/55/R16. On a dry road it is clear that the car handles very well and the braking distance has been reduced. On wet surfaces it performs very well too, no problems at all in the recent downpours. Very stable and reliable grip. Hard to say about the abrasion - less than 2000km driven. The tyre is quiet even at higher speeds. No problems in corners, confident handling. All in all, a very successful and good tyre in this price segment, worthy of recommendation and attention from people who like a quiet ride, as well as sporty and dynamic. Read more Collapse

I would recommend it to anyone who wants affordable tyres that do not deviate in quality from the more expensive Michelins or Continentals. The tyre is quiet, very good at picking up bumps, nice appearance, on dry pavement when braking harder the ABS does not switch on. It also works very well on wet pavement. I have used them for about 5,000 miles and they wear very little, practically like a new tyre. My next tyres will also be Bridgestones. I think that these tyres are a little underrated. I recommend these tyres to everyone, I am very satisfied Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside the UK

I had a big dilemma as to which tyres to choose for summer. In the end I trusted the ADAC tests and bought an Ecopie 150. First impressions...the car runs like it's on rails, it's quiet much less sensitive to bumps, cobbles and potholes. The fuel consumption has dropped noticeably. I can't say anything about the wear, as I haven't had the tyres long enough. I think I have chosen the best tyres in this price range. I have previously driven on Pirelli P6 and the difference is colossal to the disadvantage of the Pirelli. Read more Collapse

Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 is based on an advanced material technology called NanoProTech. In addition, Ecopia EP150 has a specially designed tread pattern. This solution significantly reduces rolling resistance by the optimal reduction of energy losses in the upper layers of rubber. The optimised tread is equipped with thin blades. They are responsible for increasing the pressing force to shorten the stopping distance.
