Our customers' opinions on Uniroyal tyres:

    Uniroyal RainSport 5

I have these on the front in my Mini Cooper S Coupe and also had them before on all 4 corners on my 2007 Boxster S. They are by far the best tyres I used in Scotland. Because the weather here is always damp, cold and rains a lot, these were an option I considered for the Boxster and now that I have the Mini I put them on as well on the front as the ones that came with the car were budget tyres and were awful. Now, they are very good on dry tarmac and grip is more than sufficient for normal daily driving, if you are a bit of a heavy foot person you will see that they can handle quite a lot of abuse. In wet conditions they come to their best and I can confirm that both the Boxster and See more > the Mini have benefited from having these tyres fitted. You can drive quite hard and the water dispersion is great. The confidence of having grip even under torrential downpour is one of the best feelings when driving. I am not saying you should drive like a maniac, but these tyres are definitely the best I have ever had in a vehicle in the last 25 years. Wear will depend on the driving style, so don’t blame them if you drive like nuts and use a lot of unnecessary braking. Both in the Boxster and the Mini these are fantastic and the feeling of a secure and stable drive is what’s best for me. Will definitely have them in the future again, and recommend to anyone not only in Scotland, but perhaps the whole of the U.K. where the weather is not nice most of the time. Mind you, these are summer tyres, don’t go crazy during winter, because as most summer tyres, the rubber goes hard below 6 degrees Celsius, so if you like a sharp drive even in cold weather, get a set of proper winter tyres.

Wet weather grip is insanely brilliant, dry weather traction is like glue, soft rubber composition means a shorter life span, but I feel safe every time I drive on rain expert 3:rubber so nothing else will do for my car, there rain technology cannot be matched and aquaplaining does not exist with my car either in harsh rain conditions, my use of these tyres are always for many years, for a medium caliber tyre they ride like premium brands and beyond. Uniroyal Rainsport 3

I am very happy, everything that is written and applies to the tires all in accordance with the description, I am impressed by how the tire is behaving on the road, the tire grip in the wet I have no questions. I have been persuaded by my cousin to buy the tires, thank him for that today :-) and I will definitely not give up the Uniroyal brand. If someone is looking for good tires and good prices, I really recommend them !!! See more >

I use both on the road and beyond - in the country on a muddy road in Żuławy. Works for me - grip is always water or mud they are making little impression on them. However, one should treat it with care, they have a very sensitive side. Abrasions on curbs etc. often result in bulges on the sides, and these in turn can lead to tire failure - after something like this one on the back tore me to pieces during the drive (over 100km / h).
